i heard all of them will be showing re-runs of "Talking Ball" except one for the Blazer game.

i heard some will be playing NBA classic games
from the 2000 Western Conference Finals and 1992 Championship.
in fact all but one will only play the last half of game Seven of 2000.
i really shouldn’t joke about this. it’s making me sad.

Wish I could be there
If Denver loses @ Detroit on Tuesday (possible given that Detroit may have figured things out with Iverson hurt— they just won @ Orlando and then @ Boston) and the Blazers win at home against Indy on Wednesday (Pacers will be on a back-2-back)… then that game will be for the DIVISION LEAD!!
Of course, I’m starting to think Utah might sneak in and snatch it.

The Agency
is a niiice place. I “scouted” it in advance. There is a lounge downstairs with probably 6-10 ts, a bar, and a lot if couches.
The bar part has a lot of tvs, and the main dining room has surround tvs (excepting the window side) and 2 projectors for larger screen viewing. And the food seemd to live up to the price.

but i don’t know if i can make it for a different reason… i have western civilization that night from 5-7… would be a tight squeeze, PCC is a ways away from the Agency (i think, yes?)… i’ll only go if everybody brings me a birthday present…
HEY DAVE, do you think there will be a Blazer’s Edge Night: Playoffs Edition? now that would be sweeeeeeet. plus i wouldn’t have to worry about making it or not!!!

I have two scars
one is from setting up a dance and a the fold-up bleachers running through my ankle. The other is from my friend dropping me on asphault while trying to throw me in the lake.

i don’t know if this has been discussed elsewhere, but i think it’d help if there were nametags with your SN and NN (that’s name-name). i am one of the few people whose icons is an actual photo of ME, and i wished at BE nite at powell’s that i could’ve actually MET some all the fine folks around me. i’ll be wearing miiiine

Anyone else worried about what to wear?
I was going to wear my Shav jersey except it’s too long and it makes me think I should tuck it in or wear a belt with it. If I tucked it in or wore a belt, I would look pretty silly. Then there is the pressure of the Media Row Report. What if my shoes suck? Should I get my eyebrows waxed?

About National Televised Games...
I remember watching Blazers’ national televised games, while “Blazervision” was airing them locally at the same time as well. You guys remember that??? I think this happened in the late 90’s, early 00’s, if I remembered correctly…
… LOL HaHa… One thing I did really funny was I would switch channels from the national airing to the local airing to avoid Bill Walton’s comments before I noticed he would speak, just to hear a better ‘logical sense’ comment by “Snapper” Jones… LOL… Man, I miss Blazervision!
Out of the shadows...
Well, I’ve been lurking for quite awhile as I love this site…and the Blazers…and tattoos of unicorns (although I should probably keep that one to myself). However, I felt the need to start posting mostly so I didn’t show up to this thing without ever having made a contribution to BE. I’m pretty stoked about the event for a couple reasons:
1) I’m a fan of the Agency. Is there any other place in Portland that has sports and such attractive women?
2) I have questions that need answering, like “What would happen if saw KP in public and the subsequent overwhelming emotions made me try to give him a big old bear hug of gratitude. Would I get Pritchslapped?…‘cause I’d be ok with that”
3) Why does any Blazer’s article on Oregon Live result in the comment section becoming a debate about whether GO is or is not a bust? Although a better question would be why I don’t stop reading after the “Print This Page” mark…
