For those without Comcast. A way to watch the games?
I know some of you unfortunate souls don't have, or can't get, Comcrap cable.
Would it be worth the effort to hook up my webcam and point it at my television? I could then broadcast it using messenger or something similar. You could log on, view my webcam, and watch the game.
I haven't tried this out and I'm not even sure if the video quality would be all that smooth (any computer gurus out there let me know). I was just sitting here at work reading a blog that was compaining about this comcrap issue and thought maybe I'd give it a try.
So my question again, do any of you think this would be worth it? Let me know and when I get home I'll try it out. I also have a digital camcorder that I can supposedly use as a webcam too. It will probably produce a better image but I need to get a cable for it so I'll try the webcam idea first.
If Comcrap would just man up and let the dishes broadcast the games we wouldn't have to resort to such things.
I JUST WANT EVERY BLAZER FAN TO BE ABLE TO WATCH OUR AWESOME TEAM!

Fairly sure that would be copyright infringement.
It’s that whole “This broadcast is the sole property of the NBA and its teams, any reboradcast without the express written consent of the NBA is expressly prohibited…” legalese you hear before every broadcast.
How do you know he didn't get the
expressed written consent of the NBA?
This is the best fanpost ever
While you’re at it, can you take a video camera to the new Underworld movie? I want to see it, but don’t want to have to go myself!
also atdhe.net
and yes, please feel free to point the webcam and broadcast. I give you permission.
Sincerely

thanks for the offer!
It’s a kind sentiment and very nice of you to offer, but unless you have one helluva webcam, the quality would probably not be worth the effort when there are already multiple sites providing the game (as posted by others above). However, those feeds do tend to fail from time to time so maybe someone will hit you up for a link later on… be careful who you sahre with though. Comcast has spies EVERYWHERE.

Snitch!!!
Who wants to bet Brannon49 works for Comcrap or the NBA?
Don’t tell him nothing. I’ve worked hard to compile my website list. It’s bad enough we lost onenationNBA Replays. It was the best.
An alternative.
Turn on the radio and listen to Wheels. Close your eyes real tight, until it hurts. You will begin to see white and red spots. Yep, that’s the Blazers in action. Roy is the spot that moves faster. Outlaw is the gangly one.

From miami, i can tlel you i got a solution that works great as long as you know someone from portland with comcrap.
i bought a slingbox and sent it to be delivered to my family in portland. I get all the games for free on my laptop and use the VGA out to put it on my plasma. Its no HD content, but it works great.
Please, for the love of all that is holy, please stop using the following: "Book it.", "FTW", "Epic" & "Fail".
...no seriously--stop.
best way to go when it comes to watching online streams are p2p programs
like Sopcast/TVants/TVU.
much much better quality than most internet streams, plus there is usually hardly any lag at all,
the only negative is the streams are usually a minute or two behind
i wish
we were somehow able to sync the radio feed and the tv feed together like they do for our highlights. wheel’s calls with video would be great.
