Jerryd Bayless Is On Twitter; Locked Up Again Already?
Let's get it.
Update: Speaking of Bayless, check out Quick's latest which answers this morning's poll question.
"I can use both,'' McMillan said. "It's not flip-flopping as much as me trying to find a combination that can work with each other.''
Right. Looks like it was a work-release and not true freedom for Rex.

"My second year in the league, I had the pleasure of playing with ‘The Enforcer’ Maurice Lucas. He is responsible for taking my game to the next level, both mentally and physically. Maurice dramatically reduced the amount of fights I got in my second year in the league. Long before Detroit and the ‘Bad Boys’, Maurice Lucas was the guy serving up punishment, bruising guys and loving it. I learned all the sneaky tricks from the master himself. Maurice helped me control my emotions, always told me to never get even right away, let it go, never react in the heat of the moment and get even later when the refs aren’t looking. Believe me, I got my revenge on many nights thanks to his advice. "

Aren't you glad he's our guy?
How did something as simple as Twitter become so successful?
I’m with Norsktroll on this one, for it does seem like “[t]he end is near.”
The founders found someone who put 70 million in it
And people are vain and think everyone needs to know what they had for breakfast and how the weather is where they currently are. It’s a simple service that seems to fill a need most people didn’t even know they had.
I'd paste the penny arcade comic about twitter, but it has naughty language.
It’s nonetheless funny. If you search for it, it’s easy to find.
Sigh. Twitter.
As someone who occasionally acts like an arrogant jerk, I can get why MySpace and Facebook ...
have taken off like mad during the past few years. Twitter, on the other hand, seems like nothing more than some supersized version of text messaging via computer rather than phone. Man, I’m just totally unable to wrap my head around why it’s become so blasted popular in such a short period of time.
It makes people feel like someone is listening to them
But it doesn’t require any pesky sentences and grammar that a blog might need.
Oh, and Google bought the only main competitor and ruined it
Now Facebook is trying to catch on and build their version of it. The microblogging stuff won’t go away
my food group is on it
and its a great way for us to find someone who will want to meet up for lunch/dinner or try a meal…or even get a suggestion for a meal. as far as blazers go, i can’t get on the net while i’m at work but bens twitter posts allow me to get blazer info as they happen. i effing love twitter.

And yes it does…. But second semester seniors!! woohoo!

senioritis
as an undergrad is way different than senioritis as a high schooler.
in highschool i was sick of being around kids and was energized and excited for moving on and getting on with life and all that.
but now i think after may 23 i just want to nap.
i'm ready to graduate now.
kthx.
is it possible to have senioritis as a junior?
Or am I just completely tired of school already? I should have friggin chosen business as my major. I’d have a PhD by now. Now i have 3-4 semesters left.
Every child must be encouraged to get as much education as he has the ability to take. We want this not only for his sake-but for the nation's sake. Nothing matters more to the future of our country: not military preparations-for armed might is worthless if we lack the brain power to build a world of peace; not our productive economy-for we cannot sustain growth without trained manpower; not our democratic system of government-for freedom is fragile if citizens are ignorant.

The reason to use Twitter
Twitter is really good for networking and getting to know other people in your profession and experts. A lot of people use it to market their blog posts or to link to interesting news happening in their industry. Also people who are job hunting can get tons of free career advice and leads/contacts for new jobs.
i have just started using it over a week now and it is a pretty interesting tool.
also shaq is really funny.

see I don't get that
The LA announcers griped about it and sure they had a foul to give and could have used it, but Andre was in position the entire time to put up the shot if he got fouled. if he had thought the defender was coming to foul him, he would have thrown it up and gotten 3 free throws out of it…
