Jerryd Bayless Is On Twitter; Locked Up Again Already?

@JBay4.

Let's get it.

Update: Speaking of Bayless, check out Quick's latest which answers this morning's poll question.

"I can use both,'' McMillan said. "It's not flip-flopping as much as me trying to find a combination that can work with each other.''

Right.  Looks like it was a work-release and not true freedom for Rex.

How did something as simple as Twitter become so successful?

I’m with Norsktroll on this one, for it does seem like “[t]he end is near.”

by AK1984 on Mar 17, 2009 7:07 PM PDT reply actions

The founders found someone who put 70 million in it

And people are vain and think everyone needs to know what they had for breakfast and how the weather is where they currently are. It’s a simple service that seems to fill a need most people didn’t even know they had.

I'd paste the penny arcade comic about twitter, but it has naughty language.

It’s nonetheless funny. If you search for it, it’s easy to find.

Sigh. Twitter.

As someone who occasionally acts like an arrogant jerk, I can get why MySpace and Facebook ...

have taken off like mad during the past few years. Twitter, on the other hand, seems like nothing more than some supersized version of text messaging via computer rather than phone. Man, I’m just totally unable to wrap my head around why it’s become so blasted popular in such a short period of time.

by AK1984 on Mar 17, 2009 7:16 PM PDT up reply actions

It makes people feel like someone is listening to them

But it doesn’t require any pesky sentences and grammar that a blog might need.

The reason to use Twitter

Twitter is really good for networking and getting to know other people in your profession and experts. A lot of people use it to market their blog posts or to link to interesting news happening in their industry. Also people who are job hunting can get tons of free career advice and leads/contacts for new jobs.

i have just started using it over a week now and it is a pretty interesting tool.

also shaq is really funny.

see I don't get that

The LA announcers griped about it and sure they had a foul to give and could have used it, but Andre was in position the entire time to put up the shot if he got fouled. if he had thought the defender was coming to foul him, he would have thrown it up and gotten 3 free throws out of it…
