Nellie and the Warriors
Is it just me, or does it appear that Nellie is trying really hard to get fired? This, of course, after signing a nice lucrative deal not so long ago? Let's see, right now he is pushing to alienate Monta Ellis, and he has no patience whatsoever for Anthony Randolph, who, at 19, is about the only inside player that has offensive proficiency in the paint. A raw talent to be sure. Oh, and of course, he has decided to arbitrarily rotate sitting veterans out although they are not injured nor even neccesarily battle fatigued. Says he wants to check out the younger players. Umm, isn't this what practice is for? Or 20 point 4th quarter deficits (of which the Warriors experience a fair amount)? And lets not forget that just recently he has decided to put Jamal Crawford in the doghouse, though no one is quite sure why? I look at Nellies track record through the years and I don't understand at all why he is revered in some circles. It seems his M.O. is to try to get teams to bond together through their mutual hate of the head coach. Well, as a fan of a fellow west coast franchise, here's to GSW keepin Nellie around for a good long time!

Nellie is crazy like a fox.
I have no idea what he is doing. Didn’t he tell Jamal Crawford to opt out next year or he wouldn’t play him?

Yeah he did.
He’s the kind of coach that would pull the star player in a 1 point game and replace him with the water boy.

I would be so down with Crawford on the Blazers.
He’s got about the same PER as Rudy with a better assist ratio. Plus he’s best friends with Roy so maybe he would sign for cheap. It’s sort of superfluous, but if we lost Outlaw, Webster, Bayless, or Rudy over the summer it might be worth a look.

I couldn't be more against Crawford
with his need for the ball, and inefficient shooting. The reason his PER is so high is because of his extremely high usage rate (21.0). We don’t need more guys that need the rock to be successful, we need guys that are highly efficient when they do see it. Rudy is clearly more efficient with a ridiculous 59 TS%.
Now, if we’re talking about Brandan Wright (PER = 19.06), I’d be all over that. He’s a serious player in this league, and would be a great backup for LMA.
I know, I know, I know, I know...
Of course you hate Crawford. A lot of people do except a lot of it is unfounded. Crawford is a gunner to be sure but he’s had more coaches then he’s had seasons. If you hate Crawford’s game you should definitely hate Rudy’s game. How do you feel about the Rudy again?
Rudy has gone from slightly overrated to criminally underrated. Its relatively easy to find a backup SG…. sure…. true. But, do you really think that Rudy is just some regular backup SG?-as11osu
Crawford has pretty much the same skill set as Rudy only he’s amazing off the dribble (best crossover in the league) and not as good at moving without the ball. He is a gifted passer and has about the same assist ratio as Brandon Roy. His true shooting percentage is %54 which happens to be exactly the same as Travis Outlaw.
Having said that, there is no possible way he works on this team unless Outlaw, Webster, Bayless, or Rudy get moved over the summer.

Andris Biedrins
Is an amazing player. Gotta credit Nellie for letting him start over the vet Foyal. Been up hill for them since. Ellis really screwed them & Crawford is a notorious ball hog.
Stay Healthy.
Sign Nate Robinson RFA
Draft Terrence Williams

They're a suckish team
no matter what happens, Nellie is going to look like a dufus.
I’d be more critical of him for not winning big in Dallas than I would of him being a dork in Golden State
The crazy thing is that he is missing just about 30 games to become the winningest NBA coach ever
Longevity helps to achieve records. If you polled 100 NBA fans about the most successful coaches, how many would put Nellie in the top 3? I think he is really good at finding weaknesses in the game plan of his opponents, but sometimes makes mind boggling decisions in the communication with and development of his players.
