Blazers Lead the Division
So after the Utah Jazz lost in 3OT to Dwayne Wade (I wont mention the Heat here because Wade has become a one man show). Portland now leads the division by a half game. How long do you think it will last? I am optimistic that Utah loses tomorrow at Orlando on a back to back and we have a very successful road trip (we are due for one) your thoughts? And of course since this has to be 75 words long, Who is everyone's favorite on American Idol so far?

Atlanta beats us tomorrow...
unfortunately, our grasp on the #1 spot will be all too brief.
But we could regain it quickly.

Atlanta has been just as strong at home as we have
I seriously doubt we steal one, but will be sacrificing a few small animal tonight in hope

I don't know...
We beat them there last season, and I know we’ve beat them at least the last three times we’ve played them
But then again this could be a statement game for either side, and I think Atlanta has more to lose than we do

We beat Denver last season as well,
but the dynamics this year are entirely different. We don’t have Jack, and Mr. Jones plays for Miami now. Rudys hurt, and Martell’s a memory. Joel’s playing in constant pain, and the French Prince is not 100 percent. Also, the Hawks look like a better team this year, of course, so do we…. I’m hopeful, we’ve done ok against the east on the road so who knows.

The French Prince isn't too bad
when he’s at less than 100%.
Joel’s pain isn’t keeping him from blocking shots.
Last year, Brandon totally shut Joe Johnson down when he had to, with a dominant defensive stand. That’s the kind of thing that gets inside a guy’s head. Last year’s Hawks team is still there, it is mostly the same guys. Last year, they battled us very close both games. This year, in Portland, they folded when it mattered. I suspect that mentally, we have their number. I could be wrong on this, but there comes a time when a team is beat before they ever step on the floor, and I just wonder if that might be the case with this team.

I was hopeful too,
I wonder how their stand against the Celtics effected their confidence…

The odds are that we will lose the number one seed tomorrow morning
Utah has a ridiculous schedule, though. They have six back to backs… insane.

Everyone is so optimistic.
I say a bit down the stretch. Denver has been sucking as of late but they have a seriously easy schedule coming up and Utah is healthy and we are not. But then again, I can’t predict the future so who knows?

Utah plays six back to backs, and catches one team on the second night of a back to back.
Portland plays three back to backs, and catches seven teams on the second night of a back to back.

It starts in Atlanta
It hangs heavy on the shoulders of Brandon continuing that 4th quarter confidence into all 4 quarters & Batum continuing to improve as well as stay aggressive. Huge nights from Pryzbilla and we might sneak out of their place with a dubbaya
Stay Healthy.
