that's just malarky

Considering many call him a bust and injury prone and never amount to anything. If he plays one more game this regular season, he will have played one more game than any time in bynums career, the one non-playing year excepted. Yet NO ONE in LA complains about Bynum being injury prone, all they ever do is talk about how they can’t wait until he comes back.

I think some of it is that Portland remembers Bowie, and secondly that donkeys always REMIND us of that when they talk trash and it angers us that Oden cant prove them wrong until he is healthy. - GreatOden'sRaven

Sergio should have leaped into Harris

for the 3pt foul opportunity at the end of the half…. He was in the air, could have caught him and the foul.

So in the second half

Put forth effort for 6 minute instead of 4? Four was enough to only be down 4, so 6 should be enough to win it.

Portland has

9 assists and 9 blocked shots. Crazy.

so

were those last two fouls on Harris as terribly bad as Wheels made them sound?

How did you guys win that?

Our defence didn't look anything like when we played against the Lackers

and I just think it’s more attributable to being a young team and being emotionally drained then a matchup thing. christmas was after a long streatch where we were just waaay to tired, and had been out performing our years, we were in for a let down there

What amazes me is that we have so many guys that I could imagine being the 3rd or 4th best player on a championship team. We have Travis Outlaw, Nicolas Batum, Martell Webster, Joel Przybilla, and Rudy Fernandez. You could possibly include Jerryd Bayless on that list. That’s 5 players who have extremely bright futures. The only problem I see is that we have to figure out who gets the most minutes, and who even stays on our team, which is extremely to difficult to decide considering that every player has something unique that is essential to our team.

Gutsy win!

We had to do a lot of things right in the 4th, get even more out of Batum (who was icing and wrapping his shoulder when he was out), get a record-tying block effort form the Thrilla, and some clutch Roy to pull a “W.”

Great stuff.

The only letdowns were a) the fouling ritual at the end by NJ which was pathetic; and b) the color of Taren’s hair (the redhead Blazer dancer) – egad!

Icing on the cake were 2 foul outs from Carter and Lopez.

Took a while for the crowd to get going! The 4th was rockin’ in the Garden though!

in contemplation of the potential of Nicholas Batum. He’s 20 years old. He’s one year experience in the NBA. McMillan has him defending the best shooting guards and small forwards in the league. Batum rebounds. He blocks shots. He does not panic. He’s getting better. He’s 20 years old. And in two or three years? ALL STAR.
