Gameday Open Thread: Nets versus Blazers

Carter and Harris or no, we need this win.  Can we stop the Guards of Doom?  Or can we maybe outperform them instead?  Will LaMarcus Man show up again, perhaps with Super Trout at his side?  Or will we see a performance flatter than last week's 7-Up?

Talk all about the game right here.  Onward with the playoff run!

I don't know, 88.

I would interpret that as Sophia being the #1 Blazer fan and you being way down in 88th place, meaning there are 87 people who are more devoted to the Blazers than you. I think you need to step it up a bit.

according to Comcast. Interesting. Said we should see him about 6 minutes in, but that it’s not considered a demotion for Sergio.

If we work out the trajectories correctly.

We could have Rudy drop out of a blimp, falling just in time to collide with Martell in mid-air. This merging of awesome talent would obviously cause a small explosion, producing confetti and firewroks.

Considering many call him a bust and injury prone and never amount to anything. If he plays one more game this regular season, he will have played one more game than any time in bynums career, the one non-playing year excepted. Yet NO ONE in LA complains about Bynum being injury prone, all they ever do is talk about how they can’t wait until he comes back.

I think some of it is that Portland remembers Bowie, and secondly that donkeys always REMIND us of that when they talk trash and it angers us that Oden cant prove them wrong until he is healthy. - GreatOden'sRaven

- GreatOden'sRaven

him and outlaw get more make baleive calls then anybody else

Considering many call him a bust and injury prone and never amount to anything. I feel bad for everyone who uses League Pass Broadband

Using it for the first time tonight, and wow is it inferior.

by Timmay! on Mar 13, 2009 8:16 PM PDT reply actions

Is there more than one way?

I’m using it through the NBA’s web site, in their little pre-designed window. If there’s another way, I didn’t realize.

They used to allow streaming to WMP, that was much better.

Oh no I bought it.

But I’m normally watching at home on my TV. First time using the broadband version.

It often has a huge lag and buffers forever.

"Aneurysm".

When Outlaw wins a game on a last-second shot, it’s called an "annthefaneurysm". QualityPie

Really?

I think it’s great, but I live in NorCal (Sunnyvale) so have no other legal choice.

by torsoheap on Mar 13, 2009 8:19 PM PDT up reply actions

I'm also in nor-cal as I type.

Why no other legal choice? Has Comcast still not upgraded in Sunnyvale?

by Timmay! on Mar 13, 2009 8:19 PM PDT up reply actions

My apartment building isn't wired for cable

and I’m too poor to pay for it anyhow. I’m not sure it would be on down here anyhow since I’m in Warriors’ territory.

by torsoheap on Mar 13, 2009 8:21 PM PDT up reply actions

League Pass on Comcast in the valley has all the Blazer games

None in HD though unless it’s on a regular cable channel like TNT or ESPN.

A shame the apartment isn’t wired up though. I didn’t know any of those remain in the valley, though things are often so far behind techologically here. Which is really funny in a sad way.

Arrrrrrrrgh. Quasi-legal is right.

I presume that mean AT&T U-verse? Which is normally supposed to be great.
