Maurice Brooks gives Travis and Brandon some love in this week's award watch. Brandon moved ahead of Tim Duncan in the MVP category, and Travis is listed third for 6th man.

I would love Travis to win this.
I wonder how that will affect him.

I was just about to post this same thing...
BlazersEdge is getting so big it is hard to find things… lol.
Anyway I thought it was funny how the Blazers all jump up when the beat down the Lakers but I guess that is what it takes to get the media guys attention. I like the comment about Roy standing up to Ariza… I think that was a good move by Roy to let him know that the leader of the team will not allow his players to be bullied. I have been thinking Outlaw should be in the top 5 for 6th man of the year for a while it is nice to see him in there. Why though is McMillan not in the top 5 for coach of the year? Just wondering it seems like he is doing a great job.

I agree
McMillan has to be close to the top 5, and he’s made the list in previous editions of the Awards Watch. However, I don’t think Nate has been clearly better than any of the names on there currently.

Brook Lopez already has the season franchise records in blocks for the Nets with about 20 games to go?
Wow. My fantasy basketball mind would love to have him as our C/PF backup. Imagine that big man rotation. I might be willing to imagine not having Bayless for that.
