Do we need more drawers?

I was thinking about posting this idea yesterday, but didn't follow through, however with  the fallout of Rudy's injury I'm still thinking it's a good idea and I thought I'd throw it out for discussion.

Earlier today I counted 12 fanposts & fanshots all relating to "the foul" not counting the stories posted by Ben and Dave.  I don't know how many there are now, possibly twice that number.

If we had a Rudy Drawer, posted by the first person who had something to say on the subject everything could/should/must be posted there.  ONE fanpost, imagine!   OK, maybe not everyone gets their own personal fanpost, but your day will come.  I have also noticed  that when there are multiple posts/shotssome people think their comments are worth repeating in every one.  Say it well, say it once.

My original thought was to have an Oden Drawer and everyone could then post their rants, raves, rumours, suspicions, etc. in one place.   It actually came about when I'd read the fanpost about being kind to newbies who haven't had a chance to discuss Oden with a fan base like BE.  If we had a continuing Oden Drawer (updated as needed WITH A LINK to the previous one) then everyone could comment as much as they wanted - plus they could look back and see if this particular issue had been discussed before.  No one will want to scroll back two weeks  through every post to see what had been said before.  But if it was all in one place ...

One suggestion for SBN would be to have fanposts sorted by "most recent comment" and a fanpost would never disappear if the topic was still hot.   I don't know if people abuse the "Bump" post on the sites that use it, but it sure cuts down on the total number of posts...
