Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

I don't usually get into trade rumors, but this was in a local Dallas media blog today and it definitely intrigued me.

Usually the trades that are "rumored" are so one-sided that they are laughable.

Each of these proposed trades, however, seemed to make some sense for both Dallas and Portland.

It's not a rumor.

It’s just some guy messing around.

I like Bass a lot

He tore us a new one last game against Dallas and would be a great backup 4. I believe he’s a FA after this season…

I just wonder how many more seasons Kidd has left? I’m sure Bayless would learn a lot from him though.

I would do trade# 1

If Dallas was dumb enough to do it but really pretty far fetched

i would do that if i knew martell could match outlaw's production and was in the rotation

at this point, not worth the risk since outlaw is swingin’ betwixt the 3 and the 4, and has moments of brilliance on D (don’t laugh at me please, thanks.). Maybe Kidd and Bass would get enough rebounds and points to make it worth it, but not until summer.

Cuban wont admit he was wrong till the summer

and the insurance $’s are not as important to the Maves as they are to the cash poor teams, the ? is do 2 wrongs make a right?

I proposed the second one

with sergio instead of jerryd awhile back on here and on mavs moneyball.

consensus from both teams fans was no, that deal is too lopsided for the other team

It was "mascot night" at the Rose Garden, which apparently translates to a dozen inflatable versions of various NBA mascots being chased around the arena by Portland's "Blaze", which is some breed of rapist dog. -PostingandToasting

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
