SOS to Boo Thunder AND Blazers??
I was reading the usual morning NBA roundup and read the following in the New York Newsday:
" The Seattle-based group plans to boo both teams, especially the Thunder"
Read the whole article:

That's rude, and ticks me off considering so many Blazer fans are just as angry about how the Sonics move was handled. Not a very nice way for guests to behave, if this is true.

Stay Classy Portland
Since when has Portland been classy? I resent this implication.

if they do boo us thats pretty lame.
I don’t know a single Portland fan that wasn’t pissed about the move, and PA was one of only 2 owners ( along with Mark Cuban ) that voted against the move.

Cuban's a maverick (coincidental pun)
Allen did it cuz he lives in the Seattle area. He did it because the Blazer fan base would have hated him otherwise.
No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

This post shows...
Blazer fans need thicker skins. …really.

Part of my point
Aren’t the Blazers teaming with them for some special “Seattle Night” or something for the OKC game?
It isn’t very classy to boo an organization making accommodations for you.

i think they are booing the blazers
just because that’s what they missed most doing when trecking down to portland. I’m sure they would want the blazers to win, and they’ve got their homeboys nate and roy

I will do my part to keep the tradition alive
And continue booing whoever steps on the court with the Blazers

It's not the players fault that the team was moved.
Boo the execs. If you are going to boo, boo them because they embarrassed us last week.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

I still won't boo them.

Hiding behind Kevin Durant's shorts
How do you boo an executive? They don’t play on the court. They have fancy boxes and what not to keep them insulated from an angry citizenry. While it’s true that the players are blameless in this situation, we can only hope that they will transmit our displeasure to their superiors. It’s the only recourse fans have. If we were to cheer and support them, the execs will think they’ve done no harm and that everyone agrees with their shady business plans. Besides, the only way to hurt an exec is to hurt his wallet. Booing will depress the players, make them win less, make the team worth less and in general serve as warning to future owners that the Clay-Way is counter-productive and bad for business.

Give them their space
If they need to boo everybody in the entire world right now, I understand. Let them get it out of their system. I can’t imagine the mix of emotions I would be feeling if the situation were reversed, but I do know that the usual rules of decorum would not apply.

OH not! They might boo us? That can't be!
Let them boo. They will be an insignificant minority. If they get too unruly I will rise up from my imaginary courtside seat at the garden and swiftly offer up a merciless beat down which will give a new meaning to their SOS.
How about SSR. Show some respect you SOB’s.
I'm a little confused by your tactics

It's a bad quote
Save Our Sonics, a group that apparently still exists even though the team it tried to save does not, is taking a road trip to Portland to watch the Trail Blazers play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Feb. 11.
http://www.blazersedge.com/2009/2/6/751947/why-would-the-seattle-fans#12033330 This is from: blzrfan
Shuttle Express is running a fan bus to game and the Blazers are offering a discount on a block of tickets to Save Our Sonics members. The group is planning a bigger trip in April with "some celebrities." Gary Payton, maybe? Four hours on a bus with GP could be worth the price of admission to the Rose Garden.
I’m not sure if the intent is to establish the Blazers as a surrogate home team for Seattle, or if it’s to boo the Thunder.
Or boo both teams.

See that's the thing
you know how you get pissed off when the guy in the Iverson Nuggets jersey, starts jumping up and talking trash when Chauncey Billups puts in a lay-up on your home court? That guy isn’t even booing the Blazers, but is instead just talking trash about them?
Yea its going to be great when our Home court is flooded with Sonics fans booing the Blazers, and with half the BE people wearing green to show their support for them. The best thing to do is cheer your hearts out for the Blazers, and hope they beat the living tar out of ‘the team that is not be named’ so much, so that the ex-sonics fans will cheer for the Blazers just because they are hurting their old team.

why go to a game to just boo the whole night?
what happened to just liking basketball. I clap when the other team makes a good play, i don’t care, skill is skill. Now, when turkalu makes that bank shot, i won’t clap but there is an obvious distinction between a nice and game winning shot.

I seriously doubt
that many sonics fans are going to boo the blazers. I’m pretty sure people up here have a lot of respect for B-roy, Nate and the rest of the blazers.
I can’t however say they wont cheer some of the OKC players. I know i still like KD and Jeff Green. Seeing them play wearing OKC jerseys breaks my heart however and i will thus not be going to the game.

I hope
that there are a lot of Sonics colors in the crowd, so everyone will get the idea that the Sonics should still be in Seattle; and that everyone is going to cheer for the Blazers. – Elgin

Even if the Sonics did do some booing, give them a break!
It may be immature, but you don’t know what it feels like to lose the Blazers.

I wonder how many people
would make the trip down just to boo. That’s an awful long way to go to participate in something you won’t really enjoy.

I wonder that too myself
Who really wants to drive 3 hours down in crappy traffic just to boo a basketball team? I don’t get why people around here just don’t focus on screwing over some other municipality like Memphis, Jersey, New Orleans etc etc etc. (They can’t screw Sacramento though. That would just be unfair. :( )

Jeez, why boo the Blazers?
Seems pretty pointless, eh?
And why boo the Thunder, either? You were cheering for Kevin Durant and co. a year ago, but don’t boo them now. It’s not their fault the team moved to OKC.
If anything, boo the Thunder owners when they show them on the screen, but otherwise, just enjoy the game.
If you really want to boo, then you might as well pretend that the Sonics will be out there and cheer for them while booing the Blazers. But you shouldn’t do it both ways. That just doesn’t make sense.
After that long fanpost I wrote last year trying to rally support for saving the Sonics, this stings a little.
