OK, I have been on BE for almost a year now, and have a whole 12 posts so far (many more comments). But as the NBA trade deadline approaches, and all the trade talk swirls around, I feel obligated to make my second post in one day. Yes, it has frozen over and the Berlin Wall has fallen. Wait, one of those events really did happen...
And, not sure if this is a first, but my son made a separate post today also - maybe the first Father / Son posting in BE history.
I would like to know what people think about Channing the Charming. I know he doesn't get to play much these days, but I would really like the Blazers to hold onto him - he is just plain fun and fits into our "culture" well (I'm sure you have all read his blog). I mean, if he's not playing for us, what would we get in return if we trade him? Cap room?
Geez, the guy is great to have around. I have two sons in their very early 20's who have run into and talked to Channing in downtown PDX, just hanging out, and they say he is one of the coolest guys in the world. And if you have read/seen his interviews I think you would agree. Anyone else have any Channing stories?
It seems he wants to stay here, it's well documented. I would like us to hold onto him for a while, unless we can trade him straight up for LeBron,
Kobe, or DWade. J/K.
But really Blazer fans, what do you think? Let's keep it weird and keep The Charming one.
