Blazers Raising Ticket Prices
Just saw this, not sure if it was discussed here or not, but I find the timing pretty interesting, and the fact they are already going to start selling Playoff Tickets.

No big deal
They are not raising the 300 level prices.

The big catch
The biggest catch is in order to purchase playoff tickets for this year on a per series basis you have to renew your season tickets (my tickets are going up 45%) for next year by the middle of March, otherwise you have to purchase your playoff tickets up front as if the Blazers will play for the championship (16 games total possible at a cost of around $3000). If the Blazers don’t play that many home games you’ll get a refund.

The fallout of a winning team
Its just the nature of the business. At least the 300 level seats are still very affordable.

I was
a little confused by the article. Is this only season tickets going up in price or single games too?
How much do 300 level season tickets cost (lets say Red section)?

all tickets going up by a certain percentage
300 level wont be that much, like between 4-10 dollars.
"There is one way that cutting off trade with a partner could help you," Wolfers explains. "And that's if you're an idiot. If you used to trade a lot with one partner, and they always got the better of you because you don't know what you're doing, then you're right, you would be better off not trading with them any more."

what pissed me off
last year was that season tickets all went up in price but single tickets didn’t go up by the same % or at all in some sections.

yeah this sucks
im going to renew and sell most of the tickets off for around face value. this way once i can really afford my seats i can really take advantage without losing my beloved seats forever.

Why are you all complaining?
You wanted a winner, didn’t you? Now you have one! Blazers ticket prices are still well below average for the the NBA… Try living in LA, NY or Chicago!! Heck… Even Clippers tickets are more expensive that Blazers tickets!!
