Portland's own LAIKA Entertainment celebrated the global premiere of it's first feature film CORALINE Friday night here in Portland.

Sorry for the OT..
But everyone needs to go see this movie this weekend in order to help keep the movie industry alive in Portland. Many of the artist who worked on the film (including myself) are all depending upon the films success in order to keep them here in Portland… rather than move to L.A.
Go see it!! See it in 3D!!

The whole thing is from Nike’s Phil Knight, his son is one of the heads of the company and this is kinda his fathers way to help out his career.
There was a little bit of trouble as the studio is on shaky ground with the economy and all and if this film does not hit, the studio may go under. Although they had a great line in the WW and it was, “the film only has to impress one viewer, Phil Knight.” Since it is his sons company and PK is worth About $10b
