Blazers own fault
They don’t play defense until the 4th quarter, so when they try to get physical earlier in the game, the refs will call the contact.
If Blazers actually committed to playing defense all game long, they wouldn’t have this problem.

what bugs me though
is the lackadasical effort that keeps spotting teams big leads to begin with. yeah, great job in the 2nd half guys, ways to go. Too bad you didn’t show up in the 2nd quarter.

Didn't see much of game sadly
But did see one play where Sergio fought through pick and roll, LA switched which left no one down low. Sergio then tried to get down low, but it was too late. Oops.
the bad news:
blazers lost.
The good news: they went down with a fight, a respectable loss to a hot team, a couple of lay ups, a few less turnovers, howard or bass missing any one of they’re 1000000000 shots, blazers would have ekked this one out.

Jerryd was the best player off the bench tonight. Agreed?
6-9, 2-2 from the line, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, although they go with 5 fouls and 4 turnovers. Rudy was good too, but at times it seemed like he didn’t really help. Joel had no offense to speak of tonight, Travis was average. Rotation tightened to 9 guys.

The defense was really keying in on our post, making it hard for our bigs to operate; and roy seemed to be looking to create a rhythm to creating his own shot the whole game, still finishing with 26 points, most of those off of an assist, 12 of those from 3 pointers.

I don't care that we lost
We just got beat by a team that has more experience and right now is just plain better than us. But our defense was outright horrible and continues to be. How many teams shoot over 50% against us? Seems like almost every team does.
Bottom line is if we get home court advantage we lose first round 4-2 and if we don’t we will get swept or maybe win one game. Unless we figure out something defensively.
Really didn’t like that Nate didn’t play Oden at all during the last 1/3rd of the game.
