We are owned by one of the richest guys in the world and our team has a top notch bunch of people working in the organization. That said, im not really confident in our medical staff. One or two mis-diagnosies i can understand, lets look at the past few injury we have had on the team.
Darius Miles: i understand the final say(his career ending injury) was given by an independent doctor but it does not get to an independent doctor unless your staff is POSATIVE, %100. We all know how that turned out.
Martell Webster: At first it was minor surgery, we was due back mid december if i remeber right, then he played in January(i think, somewhere round then) for 5 minutes re injures the foot and now is likely out the year. Who cleared him to play that game? The Medical staff.
Steve Blake: This was pretty straight forward, he did re-injure the shoulder and it cost him a few more games but these things happen.
Greg Oden: Ugh, seriously ugh. Im not sure how detailed i need to be and honestly if i do recap it exactly i may vomit so lets just say that now we are hearing he is out for Sundays Spurs game. Ugh, just ugh.
I understand we are being carefull but this really smells like Martells injury though not as extreme. As in it was something minor that seems to not have a freaking end in sight. Let me just say i do not expect to be informed on the exact details of any players injury but i do expect that when we are told a minor injury is minor that its actually freaking minor. I do not fault any player they just do what they are told by the doctors, and maybe my conspericy(sp?) radar is on overload and im way off base but something just doesn't smell right here. Whats your take on this Blazer Nation?
