Is there a way I can read this without signing up for Insider?

Last June, Kevin Garnett became a lot of things: a champion, a surefire Hall of Famer, a Boston hero. But in the months since, the feeling swirling around courts and the blogosphere is that he’s become something else, too: a bully. To some seasoned NBA watchers, this respected court leader is now an arrogant, trash-talking cheap-shot artist.
Kevin Garnett’s antics have given him the rep of a Boston bully.
The litany of offenses is long. He got down on all fours to bark at Blazers rookie Jerryd Bayless. He finger-wagged in the face of Raptor Jose Calderon. He dropped Warrior Marco Belinelli with an ill-intentioned pick. He aimed an elbow at Bobcat Adam Morrison during a break in play. He threw a subtle punch at Buck Andrew Bogut.
What’s the common denominator of these victims? Right: None is exactly an imposing foe. If this were boxing, most of them would be considered tomato cans. There’s not a Dwight Howard, Ron Artest or Amar’e Stoudemire in the bunch. “Does he handpick his battles, is that what you want to know?” Cleveland’s Ben Wallace says with a hearty laugh. “Well, that’s the word on the street. All I know is, he’s never said anything to me.”
Another Cav has a theory. “KG knows the Celtics have bull’s-eyes on their chests,” says Wally Szczerbiak, a former teammate of Garnett’s in Minnesota. “And if he feels he has to up the antics to combat that, then that’s what he’s going to do. But sometimes it’s not always in good sportsmanship.”
The perpetrator himself can’t figure out what all the fuss is about. He says he’s not doing anything today he hasn’t done in any of his previous 13 years in the league. “I think it’s a lot of whining,” Garnett says. And no, he doesn’t make a point of going after only nonthreatening types. “On the court, I don’t even know the names of half these cats,” he says.
That excuse can’t explain one recent situation. In a game in December, the Big Ticket supposedly made Big Baby, teammate Glen Davis, cry. For his part, Davis downplays the incident. “He was talking to the team, not to me,” he says. “He never said my name, never pointed at me. I was just mad at myself, and sometimes I cry when I’m mad.”
It is possible that Garnett is only as fiery as he’s ever been. In fact, maybe only the situation has changed. “I’m on a better team, and we’re winning,” KG explains. “But if you’re going to pick something to complain about, you can take that.”
And if you want to shut him up, you’ll just have to take him, and the Celtics, down.

The Blazers as a whole are far more like my wife than like me in the sense of their physicality on defense.

We're kinda not supposed to do that.
Habitually posting Insider stuff onto BEdge doesn’t seem right. But then again, neither is some of the “outsider” stuff we post here either.

it's not habitual if it happens
rarely and by different people.
it’s not like one BEdger steals their articles every day.

Also the hip check on Roy
That was definitely a cheap shot—really nasty. Sorry, but I love that Garnett is hurt. I only wish that the injury had occurred when someone retaliated against one of Garnett’s cheap shots.

Nate watches tape
all of the time, and with the players. Anything to find out opposition tendencies, strengths and weaknesses. It’s to better prepare for your oppponent. I guess KG doesn’t need to do this as he doesn’t know who he is playing against most of the time. Such arrogance! No wonder most of us hate him. He’s a big mouth, bad actor, who I just want to see taken down in any game he plays in. Funny thing, when he was with Minnesota, I actually liked him.

Well a lot of nba players are like that,
you see players greeting each other in the beginning, but they rarely know each other. I read an article that Shane Battier mentioned in about how he doesn’t bother with that kind of stuff anymore.
The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

What is the difference between Garnett and Pryzbilla?
Joel has guts. Kevin don’t.
Because…
Joel’s got nuts,
And KG don’t!
It is a pleasure to see that Garnett’s act is no longer well tolerated.

I'm glad he doesn't know Jerryd's name
That way when he loses to us in a year or so, he’ll have to say he got beat by some no name.
Blazers Prophecy.
3-5 championships in next decade.
You heard it here first.

Next year
When the blazers rookies have developed, I’ll be dying to see Bayless fake a drive into the lane to get KG in place to commit a flagrant, then a dump off to a running Oden who posterizes KG for the +1.

I'd like to see KG get down to bark like a dog
And then have Bayless jump off his back and dunk like Nate Robinson.
