Comcast
OK, This is my 1st post. Dog me, if you must! But I must speak out.
It has been over a season and a half since the cable deal with comcast. Since then, we have seen no deals with the Major competaters in the area, ie Directv, Dish network, and charter cable.
One would have to conclude, that a deal with any of them was never a real possibility. Comcast is playing their trump card, that we would all capitulate, as the Blazers improved, and no other options surfaced.
I will not lower my expectations. Why should I accept the local sports channels, when I can have all the local sports channels across the nation for the same cost. I will continue to watch my Blazers on the internet, at reduced quality broadcasts, rather than give in to Comcast.
We can not give in to Comcast. I am a 1/5 season ticket holder in the lower bowl. I get two tickets to 8 games a season. I will not be held hostage by Comcast. Larry Miller needs to realize that you can't be a global brand until you are a local brand!
Let's make our voices be heard. Our team needs to be available to all our home team fans!
