Laker Arrogance
Some things never change....
"There's one thing you can count on, some Western Conference team arising to challenge the Lakers before it's over.
Before the decade is over, I mean. Or the decade after that, for sure."
I have a pretty good feeling that sometime before the end of the next decade there will be a new Western Conference Champion!

That is just painful to read.
I would honestly not recommend reading that driveling piece of trash. Don’t give him the satisfaction of the hits.

Nice word play - just got the facts slightly wrong
Portland is still waiting for Greg Oden to break out. Instead, he mostly just breaks, returning from the All-Star break with a bone chip in one knee the Trail Blazers didn’t know about.
His essay would be more convincing if the Lakers had collected all the titles the Spurs now have from the last decade.
Brandon is one of those quiet assassins. - Chris Paul

I've got no problem with this article
The opening sentence is true, and not really that arrogant. Keep in mind that the L@kers will probably win the West this year, and the deacde only has one more conference championship to give out, which could very well go to the L@kers also. The rest of the article is just about how the L@kers have been head and shoulders above the rest of the conference this year, and it doesn’t look like anyone is going to rise up to challenge them this year, which makes sense to me.

I JUST SAW THE BEST LICENSE PLATE EVER!
It was on this black Silverado. It said “Beat LA”
The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

well
the general idea is right— ie the Lakers are in control over the West for this year and at least the next year or two, but the idea that the Blazers didn’t know about Greg’s injury is ridiculous, as is the idea that the Lakers will just be able to sign Chris Paul with ease when he’s an FA.

My buddy had a baby last week
and we’ve already started on the Blazer love and the L*kers hate. He’s going to put up the “Rise with Us” poster in his room, and he’s literally rise with us. It’s going to be awesome. By the by I thought we didn’t do swearing on here, and yet I see L bombs dropped left and right
