Trade Drawer Fantasies Overflow - 2/18
Dave's post really percolated the idea of coming up with trades not because they could realistically happen, but because you'd love for them to happen.
I usually hate trade talk but Dave's post today really got me feeling like trying out ye olde trade machine.
I've turned to the darkside.
Zeusdammit!!! I see why so many of you think your the bee's knees when you come up with a trade you like. I came up with a couple that are not even reasonable, but I feel like Picasso.
Right now every post is about trades, and trade rumors, things that could actually happen.
Please share with me some fantastic ideas that won't happen, but could.

My David Lee Fantasy
They want to get rid of Curry…Blazers want David Lee.
Raef plus
Sergio
for
David Lee plus
Eddy Curry
Straight up.
Why do we want David Lee to play 20 minutes a game for 30 games and then either pay him way too much this summer or let him walk?
My HDTV is a torrented game that I can watch lag-free :(
Let LaMarcus keep the headband!

New 2-Deep Lineup with trades for Lee and Salmons
Oden/Pryz
LA/Lee
Salmons/Batum
Roy/Rudy
Blake/Bayless
and if Martell ever comes back….well, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. I think it means Batum is relegated back to the end of the bench.
I need this to happen.
To Portland: Richard Jefferson, Kenyon Dooling, Najera
To New Jersey: Luke Ridnour
To Bucks: Raef, Trout, Sergio
hmmm...re: Najera I'd be trying out the phrase "he's a punk, but he's OUR punk!"
Hit it. Yes he did. Ohhhh yeah.

Najera would be a nice backup PF.
He and Joel would gobble up every rebound!
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
with that trade...
we would become the Spanish national team.

This is what Lucas would do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0aPkIE2qK0

A bulls dream that includes Blazers
CHI: Bosh, Rudy, Miller
TOR: Raef & Tyrus
POR: Kirk & Salmons
SAC: Gooden & Noce
Raptors aren’t giving up Bosh
There is a rumor on RealGM this deal is on the table
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=dlfh73
Also includes the rights to Petteri and draft picks from our side. Deal is hanging on a few things and could go either way.

The ultimate "will never happen" trade
Obviously, I’ve abandoned all sense of realism here, so if you define “could happen” to mean another team might possibly consider this, my trade doesn’t qualify. But if you define “could happen” to mean the trade doesn’t violate the CBA, well then we have a winner.
This trade addresses our two primary weaknesses in the starting lineup and upgrades us at center (allowing Oden to come off the bench):

There's no way..
the Hornets cede Sean Marks. You’re out of your mind
"Well, Travis just showed us that we can go to Travis Outlaw." - Nate McMillan
Hence, my admission that the trade is unrealistic
Marks is the deal-breaker, no question. But we can dream, can’t we?
man, i have been trying to get that trade to work for weeks.

According to Hollinger . . .
It nets us 10 vicotries (which I found to be a little surprising).
The other three teams all lose 10-15 victories.
Bulls Kings trade
Who did the Bulls give up for Salmons and Miller?
Anyone know?
Witty Unpredictable Talent and Natural Game
Nocioni and Gooden's expiring
They found a taker for the Noc, lol, and it’s not us, wohoo.
