I think I'd...

…start calling him “Jimmy”. Hehe.

this has been a message from: "The People's Alliance to give Greg Oden at least a couple of seasons."

And...

…bonus points to anyone that can find out why he was on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that particular day.

for the gang violence?

It was "mascot night" at the Rose Garden, which apparently translates to a dozen inflatable versions of various NBA mascots being chased around the arena by Portland's "Blaze", which is some breed of rapist dog. -PostingandToasting

Mark Stein's parting shot
Is Washington’s most sought-after player staying in the nation’s capital? I received a one-word answer when I checked in with my favorite Beltway insider on whether the Wiz are still resisting interest in Caron Butler: “Absolutely.”

It'd be pretty hard for Ol' Abe to turn down RLEC these days.

Especially with the team going nowhere – again. Stein’s “favorite Beltway insider” probably is Abe Pollin. Wicked old and confused.

It's not gonna happen

No matter what team you’re a fan of.

I like whatever metric makes a Blazer look better.

ESPN 's Chad Ford says...

…we have our pick of Gerald Wallace, Richard Jefferson, or Caron Butler if we’re willing to part with young talent in addition to RLEC.

I would love me some Caron..

I have been calling for that for atleast a month and a half now. My dream is Trout, Sergio and Frye/Diogu or who ever(bench players) outside of rudy and Bayless to fill out the peices for cap reasons. This will never happen but a guy can dream.

Do it

Probably only happens if we take back Etan Thomas and maybe Songala too. But salary wise those 3 for RLEC outlaw/sergio/frye would work. The wiz are going nowhere and in danger of paying luxury tax next season. It would also give us ETEC next year at a little over 7 mil.

Agreed!!!!!! I have been saying it forever

I am a Wizards fan first, and have watched Caron play 250 times the past 4 seasons. He is incredible. Never takes plays off. Hardest working man on the court. Unselfish. Does what his team needs. He is NOT a superstar. He is just a very very very good player. He is the perfect #2 or #3 option because he will shoot at 50% and get you a ton of easy baskets without having plays called for him.

He deserves so much better than what he has around him in Washington.

sweet. so you wont hate us when we steal him from you guys?
