This is exactly what we need

A 3 way trade that puts us in immediate contention for a title and works for all 3 teams involved.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d5eoyj

Star-divide

This gives the blazers an all-star caliber small forward and an all-star caliber point guard, both who fit our system perfectly. This was written by ESPN's Bill Simmons in his trade value column (which was quite hilarious by the way). "or in Nash's case, a mercy trade to a contender with a better chance of winning, like Portland". Richard Jefferson is also a perfect fit for us with his good defense and the fact that he doesn't have to be the number one or two guy on the team. This gives us 4 All-Star Caliber Players and a future all-star in our starting line up.

For Milwaukee this trade makes perfect sense as well since they are hoping to dump a lot of salary and a long as we included a draft pick or two I could see them doing this. This would also let them play Luc Richard Mbah A Moute at small forward.

And for Phoenix this makes good sense too. They get a bunch of expiring contracts and a good young player to help replace Nash (Rodriguez could also work there).

So What Do You Think? Does this seem like a good trade that works for  all teams?

Again. Blazers get everything and everyone else gets scraps. Bucks will want more than Lafrentz for Jefferson. Not much though. Throw in a draft pick and that might get it done. But Phoenix LOVES Nash. Not the team. But the city. Fans would riot. Only way phoenix does this is if trading Nash gets them under the luxury tax and they find a taker for O’Neal.(not the blazers obviously) Plus I think Phoenix would want Lafrentz contract. Maybe if you took back barbosa and included Lafrentz to Phoenix you could get Nash.

I agree

Batum needs to at least go to Milwaukee to be fair to them.

nash won't work on this team

they way we play is way too slow to properly untilize nash. Just look at how he is now under porter.

Don't trade Jerryd or he'll go Rexy on us and we'll be completely screwed.

That’s not sarcasm. I’m serious.

Want more aggressiveness? Try less Baylesslessness.

I would..

hardly call Shavlik a ‘scrub’. I don’t do Nash for Shav, straight up.

Trade

People! The NBA doesn’t live in the equal talent for talent days anymore. It’s become the haves and the have nots. Port has resources and PHX does not, when Amare is moved it wont be for equal value.

Phoenix says "No way".

Trimming the cap is a priority for Sarver.

this has been a message from: "The People's Alliance to give Greg Oden at least a couple of seasons."

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
