HEY GUYS WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MY TRADE

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d9s57e

It's pretty good and I think everyone gets what they're looking for and hopefully the Bobcats pull the trigger. This is my first fanpost and trade idea so please don't hate too much!!!!!!

Also, does anyone know who is in the All-Star game? I hope all the Blazers make it - even my man Shavlik - you go, Shavlik!

yeah right

You know perfectly well who McFail is. And this is NOT your first fanpost. You are trying to act like one of those 11 yr old kids.

The perfect is the enemy of the good.

According to James Kunstler, who writes a well-respected if slightly profane financial blog whose title I cannot repeat here, "The Republicans must be clearly identified as the party that wrecked America... it's hard to imagine the American people giving the clean-up task to the very group that created the mess -- no matter how many cute little faces Sarah Palin can make on TV."

This trade makes sense..

except we’re shipping out LaMarcus and we’re not getting the one thing we need in return – DEFENSE.

If you could have swung a deal for more defense, I’d be totally on board.

Especially Ollie..

here’s a story:

When I was a kid, I went to a Timberwolves game and I actually won a prize of being able to hang out with KO for a day. I was only, like, 5, but it sounded super awesome so I got to go. Turns out hanging with Ollie for a “normal” day basically consisted of driving around being really cranky looking for his “friends”, picking up some money from his “girlfriend and her friends” and huffing gold spray paint out of a garbage bag.

I still have photos.

by 12sharks on Feb 14, 2009 2:59 PM PST reply actions

I'm thinking..

a depth chart like this:

PG – Blake / Sergio / Bayless / Augustin / Felton / Singletary / Conley / Jaric / Lowry / Foye / Ollie / Telfair
SG – Roy / Rudy
SF – Martell / Trout / Batum
PF – Shavlik / Diogu
C – Oden / Przy

by 12sharks on Feb 14, 2009 3:01 PM PST up reply actions

No..

Batum’s gone. Plus, we’d have to cut most of our players to make this work. I’d say something like..

PG – Blake / Sergio / Bayless / Augustin / Felton / Singletary / Conley / Jaric / Lowry / Foye / Ollie / Telfair
SG – Roy / Rudy
SF –
PF –
C – Oden

would be most likely. Also, we might have to get Norsktroll on this – when are the incoming PG’s contracts up?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=abtuo4

This could only work in a universe where two different teams decided to say sayonara to any chance of on-court success in the name of saving $$$. And save money they definitely would. To be fair, though, both of these teams are said to be liking to cut salary in a huge way.

Hit it. Yes he did. Ohhhh yeah.

Very interesting

I was driving home from Seattle today listening to kjr, I dont know who these guys were but they talking about how stupid Phoenix was acting right now. They kept talking about Phoenix trading with a team not to be named in the northwest division for a huge expiring contract and draft pics only. I was calling bs on the whole discussion,(nobody wants nothing in return) except that they were saying that Kerr has pretty much been told to get under the cap and not just under the cap but way under the cap.

Could there owner really be that desperate to just blow the team up for nothing but an expiring contract. It was not just Stoudemire they were talking about but Jefferson, Shaq, Nash. Crazy talk, but it makes you wonder how bad of shape finacially somr of these teams are in right now.

Would anyone object to Stoudamire for RLEC and future draft picks? Not losing anyone else on the roster.
This trade deadline this year may be crazier then ever.

I try to help with everything," Fernandez said. "If the coach says go rebound, I go rebound. I work for the team.

""If I'm playing this game to get media and attention, I shouldn't be here," Aldridge said. "I'm here to play basketball, and do what I can do to help this team win."

I just can't imagine that Phoenix would be that stupid

I would love to get Amare for that price, but then we have the mystery of where to put Lamarcus. He’s an Allstar caliber PF, you can’t really put him as a backup. Can he be a SF?

My avatar is 3 years into the future for sure...

I hope your not talking about my post? 95.5 is talking almost the same garbage Phoenix is wanting to blow up there team and does not want player contracts in return and Porter is gone.

how's this trade

Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Oklahoma City and Portland being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Oklahoma City and Portland had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
