Oden to miss rookie game
Courtesy of CBS Sporstline:
PHOENIX -- There's no chance of Greg Oden getting hurt in the All-Star rookie challenge Friday night. The Portland Trail Blazers' center will miss the game between rookies and sophomores with a sore left knee.
Oden, a member of the rookie squad because he missed all of last season following microfracture surgery on his right knee, injured his left knee in a collision with Golden State's Corey Maggette in the Blazers' 105-98 loss to the Warriors Thursday night.

This one does matter. I wanted the rookies to win with Greg and Lopez dominating the boards
And don’t tell me that improves their chances please :)

Greg Oden will, however, be called for an offensive foul on Maggette.

Nice
I’d rather he get rest anyways, and play in the real allstar game next year.

Boooo Morti. Booooo
This will only add to the legend of injury prone Greg Oden. He should have dominated the boards in that game with Lopez and killed the Sophies to add to his goodness.

Hope they at least introduce him and he sits on the bench or something

Maybe they'll pick up Batum as a replacement...
… or Robin Lopez (since they are in Phoenix already).

Kudos to whoever wrote that
They made it very clear that it was his non-micro knee.

Hopefully he'll heal up fast
He really hasn’t been injury prone, he had surgery before playing a game, and then began his nba career. He was hurt in one game and missed a couple weeks. Since then he was doing very well, and now might miss a couple games. Hopefully it won’t be that bad. We won’t know for a while.
