OT: Tricking 1080 for Bedge Plug
Soooo I posted a Shaq to Portland fanpost after the gloryboys on 1080 the fan went out of their way to make false claims about the Blazers fans and their quickness to attach themselves to trades. They threw out the trade idea for Shaq, so I posted a "Portland Trading for Shaq" post and called in to say that yes the fans were totally into the idea.. They put me on the air, and I instead plugged Blazersedge (citing my own post), to which they laughed a lot, and then mentioned Blazersedge like 4 more times asking me to make all these outrageous claims, and that they would sign up accounts to make trade ideas... Was just a Blazersedge plug, not meant to offend my fellow posters.

1080 usually gets their info from ESPN or the Oregonian and I see nothing on either website.

I accomplished nothing,
Other than to take the hosts to task over a trade rumor that is over a month old on this site. I then told them that Blazer fans are smarter than they think and that we don’t take many of these trade rumors very seriously, and sarcastically played along when they asked me to fake some trade rumors. Listen to the replay, I was 100% Bedge, and 0% their crap.

My spot on 1080
Was very much anti trade rumors. I went out of my way to let them know we are smart fans and don’t follow the kind of crap that flows so smoothly through the wires. I was the kind of satire while talking to them, just really getting them to mention Blazersedge a few times.
I could have done a better job, I failed in that regard :(.
