Looks like there will be three competitors for this. Kevin Durant, OJ Mayo and Joe Johnson. Should be entertaining. I don't know that there's anything Kevin Durant can't do when it comes to scoring, so he's my early pick to win this.

Man those are horrible selections

How Kevin Love didn’t get in on this is amazing, have they not seen his u-tube skillz? Seriously it needed to be Love, Manu, and some trick baller type guy, like this guy.

Looks like they picked from players who are already in other events - Rookie/Soph game and the Big Show

KLove would have just been down there solely for HORSE, kinda like Rudy Gay + Nate Rob are down there just to dunk.

I’m bummed Kevin isn’t in it though.

In keeping with the spirit of the event...

I’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is that no Blazers were invited.

The good news? I just saved a whole bunch of money on car insurance…

ha Kevin Durant

does not seem like the type of guy who has got enough swag to his game to be good at this. His game is pretty pure just, elevate and shoot, or elevate and dunk right? OJ Mayo and Joe John on the other hand…

From the back of Travis Outlaw's Franz card: Travis leads the team in monstrous thunder dunks, wins awards for post game interviews, and often gets extra points for degree of difficulty.

Who selected these guys...

they could have done a better job of picking the participants…
what about Manu? that guy has some crazy lucky shots. He might have to have 3 or 4 guys to stand in his way to pull them off, but wow.

I agree that Love should have been in it, just for the chance to see him shooting from behind the stands…HA!

i think what was said above, about participants who are already in the rook/soph game or the all star game were chosen

too cheap for extra plane tickets, plus, what’s the honor? I got selected to play horse at the all star weekend! It would be an honor if you weren’t in consideration for the all star game, and you were just a regular dude.

that being said, they chose good guys, great players from low national exposure teams.

but the only beef is that these guys don’t have much personality, but i really don’t know, maybe we’ll find out that they talk more smack and are funnier than you think.

Too bad Rudy couldn't be in three events.

This kind of thing is perfect for him.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Rasheed Wallace

Would kill it at horse. His two-threes-at-the-same-time would annihilate the competition.

Things happen for a reason they say, but I say there's a reason things happen.
