Since its a Sunday with nothing going on in sports :) (just some silly football game that takes four hours), and since the Ducks got beat by the Beavs yesterday and are now 0-9 in the Pac-10, halfway to duplicating the ignoble accomplishment of last years Beavers, prior to OSU joining Team Obama... it is now time to channel our inner Canzanos, and start taking bets (or at least a poll) on how much time Ernie Kent has in Eugene.
Dominic Vieira, who blogs for our sister site Addicted to Quack, put the following image up on that fine blog following the Civil War defeat.
(Hope I didn't break any rules by cribbing that from AtQ...)
At any rate, the University of Oregon's booster is rumored to be unhappy; and many expect that Kent is a dead man walking. (Note that I said "booster"; U of O is unusual in that only one booster matters. If you are a Ducks supporter not named Phil Knight, it's like holding stock in a public company where the founding family still has controlling interest--you may get a return on your investment, but you don't get a seat at the table).
Anyways... how long, BEdge readers, before Kent finds himself in the unemployment line? Given that he has 2 Elite Eight appearances to his name, and is highly regarded as a recruiter, I expect he'll find work elsewhere soon enough... but it's pretty obvious that his dismissal at Oregon is just a matter of time.
