Joel Freeland?
Is there any way to buy out Joel Freeland and get him over here mid-season?

Almost certainly not
His contract probably doesn’t allow mid-season buyouts unless mutually agreed, and his team wouldn’t agree.
He wants to make more money than we have under the salary cap to pay him. If he comes in the summer, we can probably use our MLE to pay him a better salary. So it would probably be much to his financial disadvantage to come now.

Stink
I didn’t think there would be, but its seems a guy like that is just what we need right now.

Even if it were feasable
Who would you pick to cut?
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

Well that is not an easy question. huh. If Freeland could come tomorrow and play, I would probably cut Pendergraph. In this hypothetical world though, it seems like the optimal solution would be to send him or Patty Mills down to D-League.

You'd have to cut
If you send them to D League, you have to keep them on the roster.
I’d be more inclined to keep Pendergraph and cut Mills. Rudy should be back in 1-2 months, which would give us five guards, but even adding Freeland we’d be thin up front, and Pendergraph would provide injury cover.
