Bayless flops, Rockets broadcaster Matt Bullard gets mad and takes his microphone off mid-game to yell at the referees. And you guys thought Mike Rice was bad! From the Blazers vs. Rockets game, December 5, 2009.

To Be Fair

Even an unbiased witness would call that a flop. It was pretty obvious. Not that that should deter Bayless from attacking the rim like he has been.

he doesn't need to encourage any of the rockets to "just fall down."

Battier and Scola take care of that on every other play.

yeah....everybody turns a blind eye to it when someone on their team is doing it

Unfortunately it is what the refs have turned a large portion of the game into. Offensive fouls are almost never called unless the person drawing the charge falls down.

Dwayne Wade has gotten a lot of benefit from calls because he falls down alot

Rooo-D!

Battier is the worst flopper the NBA

has ever seen so what the bleep is this guy up to?

I vehemently disagree

and will for as long as Maggette plays the game.

Two points scored by GO’ = "thunderdunk"

Scola flops more than Battier, but both of them are ESPN Top 10 Nominees...

Yeah

I’d have to say that Maggette and Scola are the floppiest floppers in the history of the game

Isn't Scola the greatest flopper since Divac?

The floppy hair might put him over the top.

I get the paper, so I don't care!

Sure it was a flop

But it was a foul regardless. You can’t impede the progress of a cutter

Flopping is high art

Deal with it.

Please, Scola has almost made me lose my lunch with his flopping/acting crap.

Worst in the league IMO. If anything I have been wondering where the flops coming from the Blazers are at. We are always on the other side of the whistles because the other team is puling a sell job on the refs.

Rockets should be one of last teams for calling flopping a disgrace to basketball.

Land Rondo.

"He needs to realize that he can't stop every shot, especially from a smaller and offensively potent player. Get your hands up, make him shoot it over you, but let him shoot every once in a while. They score a little but you stay in the game a lot. And when you stay in the game...smashy smashy!" Dave on Greg Oden

From what I've read

Bullard calls out flopping on both sides. I’d have to hear it to know for sure.

The biggest flopper I know of is Varejao. Scola is up there, too.

NBA basketball certainly isnt the prettiest interpretation of the sport in the world.

But what all pro leagues around the world seem to share is the nasty art of the flop.

Matt was a putz as a player.

I’m sure he is as an analyst as well.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
