I’m so sad watching the Blazers now, I want the feeling of seeing our young guys develop again as long as we’re not going to be championship contenders.

Have we had way, way more problems with the shot clock this year compared to last year?

I can’t believe how many we’re hucking up against the clock. We’re just not getting good looks from our halfcourt offense with any kind of regularity.

So, here's why I'm not worried about this game yet

The Blazers are on the first game of the trip after a long weekend. They don’t look like they don’t care, they just look a bit deflated. Plus they’re missing shots, including some easy ones.

Sooner or later, more shots should start falling. And we’ll see some fresh energy from Bayless and Cunningham. This is a gmae they should win.

yeah, I agree.

get Bayless in the game, pronto.

things we need to be a contender:

- a healthy Oden
- a motivated Roy who didn’t spend all offseason not touching a basketball
- an LMA who isn’t counting his money all day
- a better PG, or Bayless if he can develop a la Westbrook
- healthy, decent role players— Batum, Rudy and Outlaw might qualify in the future
- a coach who can teach pick and roll defense

That’s all we need. That’s it. We are practically there.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.

Double rainbow of sadness:

1) JBay is getting shorter
2) We never got to see him with a mustache

I miss you tiny raptor man.
