Nothing like a game to reinvigorate the basketball soul. Knicks-Blazers tonight...always a hard get in the Big Apple for the Blazers even when they're fully-stocked. What will Portland need to do in order to pull it out tonight? Discuss strategy, hopes, and whatever else you'd like, game-related of course, here.

Blazers storm out and Juwon Howard goes for 22-12-1. Crowd stunned. Roy begins hating Juwon Howard. Then he never plays another game. Roy smiles. Somewhere, Oden is crying.

I'm actually waiting for the first "Dean's better, late Nate go!" post if things go well
In reality, Dean is Nate’s longtime assistant and is just following Nate’s gameplan for this trip.
Don't tell the "fire nate" bunch that :p
"Rudy is not everyday a shooter," Fernandez said. "He's defense. He's passes. He's assists."
He said in his interview that he was going to coach the game to Nates strategy
and possibly make adjustments throughout the trip if needed. Should be interesting, even if we are missing half our squad…

I think the biggest difference might be more freedom on a possession-by-possession basis
I don’t know if Dean sits on the sideline and calls every play as much as Nate.
As far as adjustments, I suspect any adjustment (outside game-time ones) will be made with Nate on the phone.
I am still curious to see how Rudy's and Blakes are handled....
Too bad he is hurt and we likely wont find that out either

I hope the blazers just run with them.
The blazers will be playing small so they should run with new york. I’m hoping bayless gets some major minutes to show what he can do when running. Have a feelling someone will have a huge game.(30+)
