Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

I just told him, ‘man, keep your head up.’ On the court he looked at me like ‘sorry’ and put his head down. I was like, ‘nah, no way, man, no way.’ You can’t predict these things. You’ve got to do your best to stay positive. We’re going to do our best to fill in for you. I just kept trying to tell him, man look, we love you. Get better.

There are, without a doubt, better basketball players than Greg Oden

.
.
But he’s one hell of a good guy, freak accident. I hope he comes back and can have a decent career… in Portland

No... No... No... oh, nice Travis

I hadn't heard this quote before...

Thanks for sharing this.

It’s good to see this from Roy. Despite the crap he’s taken from the fans and the Oregonian recently, he’s a good guy, and a good leader for this team.

One day he and Oden will take us deep into the playoffs. If Oden can stay positive and hungry during his rehab, he’ll be back with vengeance next year. The fact that there’s no ligament damage is VERY good news. There’s no reason to think that this injury will cause long-term problems.

You gotta feel for the big guy...

and I love that Brandon was holding his hand. You get the feeling these guys really care about each other.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
