The Blazers are self centered. They need to put their best players on the court together, then go out and leave it all on the court together and make it work. Enough of this, "I can't play with him" or "I am more comfortable with this guy".

I'm watching the game right now and I was about to put that up...
The saddest part of all of this is that its 100% true.
so darn true
Miller, Roy, Webster (Batum when he returns), Aldridge, Oden. What’s the freaking problem. Why is Nate so damn stubborn. Why is he still coaching? Why haven’t we traded Brandon Roy for Chris Paul (kidding, only because I know it wouldn’t work contractually, but would do it in two seconds)…

I thought this was a great point by JVG.
Poor coaching plus poor attitude = FAIL
What are you impressions of Roy?
"He's just a very, very good basketball player. Very smart. Very heady. He can do a little bit of everything on the court. As coaches, when we scout Portland we kind of put him in the same category as Kobe (Bryant), LeBron (James), Dwyane Wade. We treat him the same. He's that good."

Jeff Van Gundy wins again.
Another reason he’s a better coach than Nate.

The neutral point of view hurts sometimes.
I was wondering to myself what Brandon would think if he was watching the game??? A wake up call? Or just another ex-coach who does not know what he is talking about?
Whether your preference is watching or playing, basketball is a TEAM game.
Nate has never seen the talent level he's seeing on this roster!
He has no clue what there capable of.
Rec JVG!
I think he's figuring it out.
BRoys most recent comments suggest he’s starting to get it. These kids are so young and have so much pressure on them it’s a wonder more of them don’t get into serious trouble.
I really am amazed at how well most of them do mentally. So much money and pressure to perform, nationwide television, the media scrutinizing every move etc.
I know when I was that young I was a not very mature. I can’t imagine all that stuff piled on top.
These guys are going to figure it out and play well. If it lasts for a really long time then that changes things. I think Brandon has earned the right to screw up once in a while.
He’ll come out smarter in the end.
JVG reaffirms my endorsement of him as Nate's replacement.
he isn’t scared of callin out the star player.
yes
lets just ignore the fact that roy and miller cant coexist on the floor and be productive. They should stick to calling the game at hand rather than lecturing roy about his team
?
“lets just ignore the fact that roy and miller cant coexist on the floor and be productive”
Yowza. I didn’t know that was a fact. I wonder why that is and why it always must be so….
