In 1996, Juwan Howard became the first player in NBA history to sign a contract worth over $100 million (7 year contract worth 105M with the Washington Bullets)

wonder how much of it he has left
he seems like he would be good managing his money, unlike Shaq and some other players or former players.

Is Shaq not good at managing his money?
where did you hear that? I had heard he was very good and very good at managing his brand. Isn’t his net worth estimated at over $300 million???
I remember that.
He played for the Bullets, and the signing was all the talk on the radio. He was making more than M.J.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
Wow, didn't we sign him for the league veteran minimum?
I’m glad we got him but he really does love the game…he certainly ain’t doin’ it for the money!
Let's do it for the big men!...and Rudy!....and Nic!...and, uh, Trout, Patty, Mo, Mr. Allen, and Nate!

I lived in the DC area when we signed him to that contract
Even as a 7 year old with limited/no understanding of player contracts was baffled by the size of his contract. Even 10+ years ago and with a different franchise name the Bullets loved overpaying injury-prone veterans (Juwan being the exception with regard to injuries)
