One view - from a Glass Half Full perspective
Joel is one of my favorite Blazers. He is also one of our leaders, an excellent defender and rebounder. It's terrible to lose him, especially with the other injuries this year. The amount of injuries to key players that this team has suffered woud have put most good teams below .500.
With that said, we've just beaten two playoff teams on the road. Tonight's game was won with Juwan Howard as our center for most the game. I know Nate takes a lot of criticism, but he should also be praised for this team playing hard. We still have two stud players (I sure hope Brandon's shoulder is OK). We have some good young talent developing in Bayless and Rudy should be back hopefully soon. I love the scrap and heart from this team tonight and I hope it continues. Without struggle, there is no progress. I hope these adversities bring out the best in this team that I love.

Glass half full
is an expression. It means looking at something in a positive light. Perhaps your screen name is inaccurate or unwarranted.

Nope. Thought about it and the expression will have to change.
The glass is pretty near empty now. Perhaps a new player will emerge to fill it back up. I just dont think Roy can continue playing excessive minutes without getting injured himself. Same is true for LA. Only positive is that we see how good the rookies and bayless is.
Something possitive might come from this, but it is very hard to imagine what that is.

Yeah, I was wondering about Brandon's shoulder too
Anyone heard anything about that?
Mark my words... Dante Cunningham will be an all star
Based on my recent personal experience
I’d bet he separated it (probably not as bad as Blake last year or he would haVe come out). “tweaked,” unable to lift, “loose,” seems like a description of a separation from someone who doesn’t want to admit it’s so. If I’m right he may hae to sit out a few games. Much like Blake last year, hurrying back is the WORST thing he could do because it only takes 1 pick to reinjure if not fully healed.
Well looking at it as half full
If Aldridge will ever get all-star, this is his best chance. He is now our best (only) rebounder so should average 20-10 easily. Plus Pendegraph and Cunningham will both get heavy minutes (as compared to how it looked at the beginning of the year) and allow Bayless to become what he wants most to be, Brandon Roy. Shoot, maybe even Mills might get some run once we start the 5 guard rotation.
Portland could coast along with their superior talent and stay right with us. Now that Portland woke up, the hammer cometh down.
Bayless > Daffy Duck after 3 cans of rockstar
