Gameday Open Thread: Blazers vs. Mavericks--Pre-Game Edition

Plot and plan your pre-game strategy here.  What is the best way to take out Dirk Nowitzki's elbow win the game?  Who do you attack and how?  Or do the Blazers just have to pray their threes go in at a 50% clip again?  The pre-game comment section is now open.

maybe your right

if he’s in the game and shoots like crap it might actually help us :)

I don't understand

Why LMA has so much trouble with Dirk compared to the rest of the league. From a purely physical standpoint you’d think that he’d have a better shot than most at slowing Dirk down.

Yeah well

Still the right move. I’m still more worried about the Jazz longterm than the Thunder because we’ll see how committed OKC really is when they have to resign Westbrook, not necessarily Durant since KD is easy.

Yes

OKC gets a great PG rotation and a trade chip, Utah saves 13-14 million in salary and luxury tax. And gets the great Peter Fehse ;)

I'll take one win in the next two games.

I wouldn’t complain if it was tonight so I wouldn’t have to worry so much about tomorrow night.

Unclear

He’s going to try to go but its uncertain if he can or if he can how long he can.

If he goes I would guess he probably plays at most half his normal minutes.

What are you impressions of Roy?
"He's just a very, very good basketball player. Very smart. Very heady. He can do a little bit of everything on the court. As coaches, when we scout Portland we kind of put him in the same category as Kobe (Bryant), LeBron (James), Dwyane Wade. We treat him the same. He's that good."

doesn’t dish network have blazer games?

by jeremyse on Dec 22, 2009 5:31 PM PST reply actions

Nope.

Comcast wants more money for rights than they are willing to pay. So it’s a big, fat stalemate.
