Does anyone else see shades of the '07 Blazers in this year's Sacramento team?

Sergio was also playing well.
Evans was amazing.
But it is Jon Brockman who the Kings are giving the MVP for that game to.
In Bayless I trust.

The Blazers should have signed him.
Solid vet, can hit the corner 3, plays defense, can play the sf and sg, won’t be stupid with the ball, could have been signed for dirt cheap.
Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.
Considering we knew about Batum's shoulder problem for a long time
You’d think Blazers Brass would have had a bit of forsight. Especially when your other two SFs are a tweener backup 4 and a guy coming back from 16 months off the court.
"Ain't nothin' in this world for free."
Exactly.
To add to that: they knew what Rudy was doing last summer and were cognizant of his nagging back problems. Udoka could have filled in for him as well, especially if Bayless was in over his head defensively.
Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.
I definitely see shades of the '07 Blazers in the Kings
Evans reminds me of Roy. So levelheaded, and clutch for the most part really early in his career. He has to play out of position thanks to subpar 1s.
Thompson reminds me of Przybilla with a little more offense. That guy cleans up the glass like no other, but Przy has the edge on defense.
Is it a stretch to say Hawes reminds me of LMA? They both like jump shots, but have their nights on the glass and inside occasionally. I’d take LMA of course.
Sergio reminds me of Sergio.
Casspi reminds me of Rudy. Can shoot the 3 well, brings a lot of energy on offense. This dude is probably my favorite King. We didn’t get Rudy until ’08, of course.
Donte Greene reminds me of Martell. Mainly because he is a work-in-progress, and was heralded as a star coming in the NBA, but is still trying to figure out a role.
And all this without Kevin Martin this season (who arguably reminds me of Z-Bo). I think Martin helps the Kings more, but still, I think he’s a chucker.
I laughed at the Kings last year, but they have a really promising future and I didn’t expect their current record.
Just read an article about the Chicago Bulls ownership..well a blog...interesting
Makes me appreciate Paul Allen EVEN MORE!!! Jerry Reinsdorf is cheap, has a cash cow and has 13 players on the roster. Refuses to pay luxury tax. Owns the media who aren’t allowed to dis the ownership/coaches…creepy all around.
If I were D. Rose, I’d want OUT!!!!
