We gonna hand over the offense to Bayless/Mills?

Roy/ Bayless.... Roy can handle the offense, well hopefully

After this season…. Not so sure, but I hope they prove me wrong

If you only looked at the players involved, it would be a good trade for us.

But what are we supposed to do at pg? Bayless as a backup is fine, but as a starter at this point? I don’t know. and even if he did turn out 2 be a quality starter for us, who would be his backup? I would certainly hope it’s not Mills. Then again I’m overlooking the fact that Pritchard could go out and make a trade for a decent starting pg such as Sessions or Foye after making the Butler trade. But then what happens to Nicolas Batum’s ever important playing time when he comes back? What happens to his role as our starting sf on the championship teams as people envisioned? Anywayz, I’m rambling now, but I don’t see this happening even though Butler is on Pritchards ‘list’.

Session yes, Foye? Not so much

I'd rather Pritchard trade for Hinrich and Tyrus Thomas

He should trade Blake, Outlaw and Miller , along with the rights for Claver and throw in some cash.

The salaries match.

The Blazers get a defensive point guard who can shoot from long range and an athletic forward who can play the 3 and 4 spot and shoot.

While I’m dreaming, I’d love the Blazers to acquire Ronaldo Balkman too

Go Blazers!

Hinrich has to be a possibility

He’s a solid perimeter defender and a career 38% 3-point shooter. He’s also got a big contract and his having a poor season coming off the bench for a losing team. I suspect Chicago may be interested in moving him for expiring contracts (Blake and Outlaw). Plug him in for Blake’s minutes and we instantly upgrade our defense.

I don’t think Thomas makes any sense for us. He’s not going to want to play 10 minutes a night behind LaMarcus.

At this point, we can’t even count on LMA playing starter’s minutes for the rest of the season

It would be ironic if KP made this deal, 12 months after we were clamoring for it to happen

Ty Thomas would be interesting

Tough rebounder, good shot blocker, can defend 3 or 4…Seems like a good answer to our depth problem in either position.

I actually wanted to keep TT instead of trading for LA because of his toughness on draft day. One of the few times I was wrong about a young guy, but the gap between the two seems to be shrinking each year, though.
