Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

What should we work on the next 3 days? (w/Poll)

You've got 3 days. What's your plan for the week practice-wise, what will you focus on?

We've got to just keep working. We've got to work on the defensive end of the floor. Both ends of the floor. Offensive and defensive. We have some practice days to work on it.

Nate thinks we should work on a little of this, a little of that.  I'm sure he knows what's best, since he got us to 54 last season.  Still this annoying thought gets stuck in my head that maybe he should find something to focus on besides Greg and Joel's fouls.  I say you finally have three days, you should use what time is available to learn one thing well.  Become specialists in a team-oriented skill (they can work on jump shots after practice). So it's up to you.

If he tells us what he is focusing on

he also tells Houston.

I’m happy to have him say nothing (in public).

the blazers help defense is atrocious...

no wonder why the last 3 teams shot lights out, because i could knock down some of the wide open shots they get. There offense is been pretty bad too, everyone just standing around doesnt put pressure on other teams defense.

Momma.....der go dat man

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
