Bayless Top 5 PER Among PGs
Not bad. Small sample size, but if there is one word to describe Bayless this year, it would definitely be "efficient". He leads us in points per 48 minutes, at about 29. He is averaging more points per game than Steve Blake, despite the fact that Bayless is playing only 12.2 minutes a game and Blake is playing 30.5 minutes. Pretty astounding.

Sergio was #5 last week
it’s all about consistency. I don’t think Sergio could possibly stay top five, but Jerryd has a better chance. The best thing about his game last night was that he played very much within himself, and that means I think he can maintain this level of play (probably with a slight drop in fg %) as he continues to get minutes. Last night wasn’t a game where he just played out of his mind hitting crazy shots, he showed a bunch of improved skills and excellent decision making.

Lets also take a look at
average minutes played… It is not even close to any other PG on that list. It kind of negates the point of his high PER overall, doesn’t it?

Small sample size FTW!
I hope he keeps it up, because that would be awesome for us. Unless we trade him, in which case it would be awesome for one of our opponents.

Now if Bayless could just learn to play the point guard position, the Blazers would be set

He is the prehistoric version of a point guard.
