The case to keep Sabonis over Sikma in Simmons "Hall of Fame Pyramid"
Nice article by Ball In Europe, incl. some video. Simmons currently has him in, but insinuated in a corrections and deleted segments piece for ESPN this week that he would bump him out if he could do it again - or for the paperback edition for "The Book of Basketball".
By the way, Ben's pointing out the error with "Drexler's Pistons" will also make the corrections according to the book's website. Though he wondered why that "obvious typo" enraged so many Blazers fans.

He was something else
We have been blessed to have two of the best big men passers in history. How great would it be to have Sabonis come and give Oden some lessons on how to play the post. Oden already has some of the passing instincts of both Walton and Sabonis. Health willing I can see him doing some of the same things from a post passing perspective that they did.

wouldn't it be nice if Oden could have a contraption where he could practice his passing
and shooting while just standing. I mean most is just reads.
I can see it now...

Can someone edit Oden’s face on there?
Great idea, seriously
If he had something like a tall, stable stool that he could set up at the free throw line and shoot 1,000 free throws a day, then he should see some real improvement when he comes back in May for the championship run.
