also why finding another big (with a post presence) as an insurance policy is huge
Last night kind of made me wished we would have not extended LMA and kept Frye and used him as a 3-point shooter instead of a long 2 shooter. LMA really doesn’t bring 8 million dollars more of service than Frye. The Blazers do really need a guy that can score in the post. I was hoping they would have gotten David Lee but his defense isn’t the greatest anyway.
Really? Try to imagine how many wins this team has this year if LA goes down in say, game 3.
LA has some holes in his game, sure, but this is crazy talk.

People seem to "misunderestimate" LMA all the time (thats a crack at W Bush)
Take a look at what happens to the Blazers defense when LMA goes off the floor. He does a lot more than most casual fans seem to recognize.

I still think KP should have got us a back-up banger to LMA this summer. There were classic, Maurice Lucas-type PFs to be had and we missed out on them.
The reason Rex is so good for us is that he. Instead, a lot of posters here just wanted more of the same.
I hope Nate is listening and will try more ideas.
