Why is Bayless called Rex?
Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but what's the deal with Bayless being called Rex? I've heard B-Rex, what is there a backstory? Just that he's aggressive like a T-Rex? More to it than that??

Well...
It doesn’t have anything to do with his outstanding wingspan or his sunny disposition.
52 + 88 = 140% better team.
Love the signature.

Crap
I hate that nickname and even I took part in picking on Bayless. I feel bad now for being a hater.
The birth of a nickname..interesting
"Rudy is not everyday a shooter," Fernandez said. "He's defense. He's passes. He's assists."
It started out as a joke about experts saying that
he would not be as good as others because of his short wingspan. Then it morphed into a very positive because of his predator demeanor on the court. He’ll rip your head off and eat you if it means winning.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
Good summary
To reiterate what you said, (most?) people were not making fun of Bayless, but were making fun of the people who were making an issue of it. And then his aggressive demeanor gave it a whole new meaning.
Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.
Yes.
Good point!

He got dem little baby arms
A baby with a crossover.
He has a greater wingspan than Allen Iverson, and Monta Ellis
Very important measurment but its not everything
I have always known about the arms...
but I think a lot of us think of an aggressive doberman when we hear the name “Rex”. That fits his style of play. Go Get em!
Land Rondo.
"He needs to realize that he can't stop every shot, especially from a smaller and offensively potent player. Get your hands up, make him shoot it over you, but let him shoot every once in a while. They score a little but you stay in the game a lot. And when you stay in the game...smashy smashy!" Dave on Greg Oden
Can somebody find the Bayless in the ark pic?
From after last year when he pretty much singlehandedly brought down the Nets?
