The Dontonio Wingcast Episode 016
It's been a busy week around these parts so sorry for the delay on this. But Basketball Prospectus's Kevin Pelton and I are back with a first-of-its-kind, live-from-courtside edition of The Dontonio Wingcast. In this 40 minute episode episode taped before the Blazers hosted the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, Kevin and I...
- Briefly look at the Sacramento Kings and Tyreke Evans.
- Discuss why it's not yet time for the Blazers to make a trade.
- Examine which point guard (if any) should be moved.
You can subscribe to our iTunes feed or stream/download the mp3 here: Download The Dontonio Wingcast 016. The mp3 is 36 megabytes.
Recording this in a busy arena, there is some background noise and a few rough cuts as we were interrupted by various people while recording it. Sorry about that. It is what it is.
FYI Dave and Casesy's podcast will be up tomorrow.

Somebody should make that his signature: "Steve Blake couldn't hit an igloo with a walrus. He's that cold."
Miller - Roy - Webster - Aldridge - Przybilla. Is that so hard?
compressing the mp3
you should compress it to make the file quicker to dl
I'm going on a Dave boycott until AK1984 is brought back.
Ben?
Omri Casspi is tougher than any Blazer? I just sent a text Nate telling him what you said, and he said he told Bayless and Joel via Twitter what you said. You are busted.
Idea
Maybe the relative success of the 3-guard lineup is due to a phenomenon similar to the so-called Hawthorne effect. A study in the 1950s seemed to indicate that when manufacturing productivity increased following a change in the work environment based on a management decision, it was because the workers felt that management was interested in improving that environment, not necessarily because the management plan led to any actual improvements.
