Stayhumble

Wendell Maxey wrote the "Stay Humble" post-it in Roy's locker was gone. I think I also remember something like that from Jason Quick, but might be a mistake. Well, it's back again - or never went away.

Little detail from Kings post-game interview. Screenshot from Oregonlive video.

Nice catch.

I think you’re right. Someone, be it Wendell or Quick, said that the post-it was gone. Good to see that it’s not.

But it might as well be down

It’s easy to stay humble when your team is struggling. I think he’s trying some triple-reverse psychology on the general public and is waiting to see if anyone notices.

oh great, the old triple-reverse psychology ploy, I’ve always hated that.

It’s like doing the crossover dribble 3 times on the same drive, it gives your defender too much time to recover and get back on the bal

Romance me with that Roy rainbow shot which took flight from way beyond the arc and sailed so high that before it came back down to earth sealing the victory, it kissed the rafters and said "You're mine baby."

Well sticky notes sometimes just gets unsticky after a while

maybe the old one fell off and he put a new one on

Possibly. It just has the same red marker Wendell describes, and I think I've seen it before.

It’s nothing really important, it just gets mentioned as an expression or symbol of his character. And it just caught my eye during that interview.

Miller - Roy - Webster - Aldridge - Przybilla. Is that so hard?

It should say

kick ass, stay humble.

Give me #52

To me it looks like its taped on right now.

It also looks to me like the camera angle was deliberately chosen.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
