Hopefully the Blazers get similar grades tonight.

Let Miller start. Let Bayless play. Let the Blazers win!
Let KP trade Blake for a quality 4-5 back-up.
If it all happens I will be as happy as a kid on Christmas morning.

Anyone at the RG yet?
If so, can you tell us what the scoreboards say as to whom will be starting?

LeBron's evil cousin maybe
Somehow I doubt we have enough cap room to do even that.

Trade for the future
Wait until very close to the trade deadline, then trade Blake and his expiring contract to a lousy team that will place high in the draft. Use Bayless as backup to Miller for the rest of the year.
Then, on draft day, either trade up even higher (if needed to get one of the top 2 PGs in the draft) – or trade out for a veteran.
by Memphremagog on Dec 15, 2009 6:20 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
Few teams have the cap space to just absorb Blake for a first round pick
And those that figure to place high in the lottery don’t usually trade first round picks until, well, after the lottery when they know where they will pick just before draft day.
Miller - Roy - Webster - Aldridge - Przybilla. Is that so hard?

Hello faithful Balzer fans
I’m a faithful Kings fan, and I would like to first and foremost say it really really sucks that Oden is out. I was rooting for the guy and loved seeing him play. I think we all see the potential in him, it sucks that he suffered another injury.
Here’s hoping for a fun and competitive game, just the mere fat that as a Kings fan I can say that without lying to myself after the season Kings had last year makes me all kinds of excited.
Good game all, let the basketball begin (in 30 minutes or so >_<)
Now, If you would all excuse me, I’m going to revert to my usual homer-ism:
GO KINGS, ZOMG BLAZERS SUXXORS! EVANS >>> ROY. EVANS4RoY!
;P
"It's as Ann as the nose on plain's face."
by Apoet on Dec 15, 2009 6:23 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
I can get behind Evans4R.O.Y.
The rest remains to be seen. Roy was a R.O.Y. too, and his numbers were actually better (in most categories and efficiency stats) and continued to improve. Until, well, now. Evans might also decline a bit as the rookie wall hits and Martin comes back to take over some shots.
Miller - Roy - Webster - Aldridge - Przybilla. Is that so hard?

Have you tried emailing Dave about it?
I don’t know why we quit.
Because it’s fun to do this bit.
And I doubt anyone threw a fit.
It’s great practice in English Lit.
And as American as a baseball mit.
I’m sure there’s more, but now I sit.

Blake already has a small contingent booing him
Has since the Minnesota game after he almost cost us Detroit. Last three times I’ve been he’s gotten booed by some in the starters.

Kings fan here – Who do you think will guard Tyreke Evans tonight, since he is our best player, at least with Martin out?

I was wondering if the Blazers will go more zone tonight. Do the Kings have zone buster type players?

Yea, most everyone can shoot
And all a team needs to do to break the zone is go to the middle, usually.

I'm a Blazers fan but I would say Donte Green can def bust a zone. He can get hot fast.. we need to control him. He's kind of an X factor.

Yea,
Sometimes he’s really good and other times….you just don’t know what your gonna get. They could try it with Donte in and it may work. It just depends on if he will be good or play like last year

If I were the Blazers
I would only try a zone when Brockman or K9 are in. I think that would be the best opportunity for it to work

Do the Blazers double team much
It seems like when Reke goes to post (which he is trying to do more often) that teams bring the double.

I don't remember seeing the Blazers ever double team effectively.
It happens rarely, and when it does, we leave everyone else wide open to drive the lane for easy baskets.

Of the starters it will have to be Miller
if he gets the starts. If it’s close in the 4th I’d like to see Bayless get a chance. He’s the only one with the lateral quickness to have a chance of staying in front of Evans.
