Miller will replace Blake as a starter tomorrow.
Bayless will receive "marked" improvment in minutes starting tomorrow night.

ABOUT TIME!
I hope Quick is right given the debacle over the Bayless comments about (Mille and Blake)…
Let's do it for the big man!...and Rudy!....and Nic!...and, uh, Trout, Pendy, Patty, Mo, Mr. Allen, and Nate!

Great news!
Now I just hope that it lasts long enough for the starting five to mesh so we can see actual results and not some skewed version because they’re not used to each other.
"She turned me into a newt!
A newt?
...I got better."
glad im going to his game
bayless leaves over my dead body
Start Bayless (in a 2 guard lineup)
if you should strike Oden down he will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine

Can someone give a rational explanation of why blake plays 36 minutes a game?
Sure
But if we pull the Lakers, how fun would that be? I’ve been itching for a Blazers/Lakers series like I’m itching for some pow right about now.
Witty Unpredictable Talent and Natural Game
If we don't have home court in the first round, which probably won't happen
I’d rather be 8th and play the l*kers than 7th and play the Suns or Nuggets. By then we’d have Batum, Outlaw and Rudy back plus whoever we get from a trade since the odds of Bayless and Miller both being here after the trade deadline are slim.
Your confusing thesis has captured my attention. Tell me more.

This could be a silver lining...
All of the loses and injuries could free Nate and the guys up to find a new formula that works. It’s just too bad that Greg won’t be part of the chemistry experiment. Bringing him back next year (assuming that happens) will likely mess things up again. But maybe our PG issues can be settled now.
It could also expose opportunities and problems that might have been overlooked if the team had a healthy roster
Bayless probably wouldn’t have played much if the Blazers had remained healthy. He likely would have spent the season trying to gain knowledge from Andre and playing garbage time minutes. What a waste that would have been. Bayless has played extremely well this season. His shooting is solid and his ability to attack the rim, finish, and draw a foul has improved greatly. If Bayless gets the minutes the rest of this season, I think the team will see he is the point guard of the team’s future.
Martell started the season with a big question mark looming over him. And with Nic, Travis and Rudy all looking for playing time and able to play the SF position, he could have easily faded into the background. If he had a so-so year, it could have been dismissed in many ways – coming off an injury, not enough playing time, no big deal because he wasn’t really needed. Now, he is now the team’s only true SF, and they need him to produce. Will he step up? It’s too early to judge IMO. But, at the end of year, the team should have a clear idea of what Martell has to offer to the future of this team.
Travis is the “love him or hate him” player on the Blazers. What does he really contribute to this team? I guess we are going to find out. Honestly, if you question whether your cable package or internet service is worth the money, just disconnect it and see how it goes. It won’t take long to find out if you need it or not. I think the team and the fans will be able to evaluate Travis’ worth much better after a season without him.
Steve Blake may have been the team’s point guard for the next 5 years considering how much Nate and Brandon like him. Bringing in Andre Miller has demonstrated how deficient Blake’s skillset is in comparison (OK, most people already knew this without the comparison). Having people injured, thus opening the door for Bayless to play, may well demonstrate how unnecessary Blake is on this team.
Greg Oden… Never mind. It’s obvious the team needs Greg.
KP and Nate have fallen in love with their players. They don’t appear to see the deficiencies other see. It’s a luxury that a team can exploit when both deep and healthy. The Blazers are neither at the moment. They need everyone to produce to win. They are not winning. I think everyone can do the math.
I have no idea what to expect from this team at this point. I figured they would make the Playoffs and maybe win the division, but I had no illusions of a Championship. I haven’t given up on those first two goals, but mostly, I just want KP and Nate to take a good look at the team and make some hard decisions.
if he started him the last time he was rumored to start
oden wouldnt have gotten hurt

I don't believe it. I just do not believe it will happen. Steve Blake will play 40 minutes a night when he's 80 for this team.
Oden fan for life
Announcing this in advance would be odd
considering the first time we started Miller in the 3 guard lineup we found out suddenly right before the game. It was so quick there was complete chaos in the pregame thread. At this point between Nate’s statements and the fact it’s so obvious Blake needs to sit I’m confident Miller will start, I just wonder if Bayless will actually get more time and just as importantly trust to be on the court at crucial moments. I’d like to see him first guard off the bench and getting crunch time minutes. And I used to be a Bayless critic. His time has come.

don't believe it
i also heard this reported before the houston game.
sadly I doubt it...
And Miller may start, but Blake will get the bulk of the minutes…
Plus, again, I think the big issue is with the offensives strategy, not the players. Either they don’t understand what Nate wants, or Nate’s offensive plan is broken. Either way, that is where the change needs to come…when we have more than 9 healthy players the rotation will matter a little more…

now we just have to wait for someone to say
“Bayless will now be the backup for Miller, Blake will be benched.”
Bayless should be Roy's backup
AND Millers…

Perhaps...
sitting at home with a busted Achilles and watching his boys could have been the perspective Nate needed. I remember at times that the commentators were pretty brutal and critiqued the Blazers accurately. This could have been an eye-opener for him on Blake.
he likes to change his mind
just to screw up his players…

I'm like the goth kids
Everyone thinks the cool thing to do is hate Blake and Nate, I hate Miller and Bayless. I’m a rebel.
i think we are jumping the gun a bit
until our record is under .500 its a bit premature to throw in the towel isnt it
