Ariza Strikes Again
All those L*ker fans who claimed that foul on Rudy was nothing dirty can eat their words. Ariza is a dirty player. Check out this swing at Derozan. He would have been suspended for a while if he would have connected.

Nope. Sorry. Play hard, yes. Throw flagrants? No. Do not pass go.
Do not collect a title. I can’t speak for other people but if we harbor someone on this team that has anger management issues and we dare to call that something good, then I’ll be the first person to walk.
I’ve really learned to appreciate the Rockets a lot, but I’d dare say that character-wise, they’re better off with an aging Artest than a guy whose playing prison basketball.

He was going for the ball
But with his elbow. And really hard. And he wanted to give the ball a concussion and knock it out.
Still on the Rex bandwagon.
I was just gunna say that.
I wish someone on our team (beside Roy, cuz he should just get out the of way when the stuff hits the fan) that would get in people’s faces.
I get the paper, so I don't care!
Grass is always greener.
90% of the fans on the net hated him when he was here.
Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.
Like Jack.
And I still don’t like Ariza (still not over the hit on Rudy).
In Bayless I trust.

Me neither
It was a bad play and he reacted badly to it. I don’t think it was his intent to hurt Rudy there was no way of getting to the ball without hitting Rudy and then he just walked off … or tried, until Brandon, LMA and Outlaw went after him. Just glad that in this case he missed and the guy wasn’t hurt!
What do you think his intent in this case was?
This was a horrible way to stop a break-away. I think the only explanation is that he wanted to hurt/intimidate DeRozen.
If I were Houston, I’d sit his but for a lot longer than the league suspended him.
The context of the game matters.
The foul on Rudy happened when the Blazers were up by almost 30 points midway through the 4th. To me, there’s no ambiguity in that situation. If the game was close, that foul could be forgiven as a mistake, but there’s no excuse for making a potentially dangerous play when the game was clearly out of reach for the Lakers. That was done out of spite. If he had any class he would have just conceded that bucket and tried to play solid D and execute well in preparation for the next game.
Ariza is a piece of….and I’m glad the Blazers didn’t sign him even though he would have been an asset.

That was ugly
But I still hate Severus Scola a million times more.
I don't miss Jack's jump pass turn overs,
but I do miss how he’d fight anybody that messed with his guys.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
