Bayless
feels like he is not awarded the trust nor the freedom from the
coaching staff, which often pulls him after a mistake, no matter how
many positive plays he produced prior.

"I know every time I
play I’ve helped this team. Every single time,’’ Bayless said before
Saturday’s game. "It’s tough. Especially since, and I hate saying this,
seeing these other guys (Blake and Miller) doing what they are doing. I
know I can help this team. I know I can.’’

Come on now

Play the kid or fear the backlash when he walks.

Pretty Brash

Statement from the kid. You know what though? He’s absolutely right! The Blazers, right now, are a boring and frustrating team to watch. Blake is a great team mate, but he should approach the coaching staff himself and offer to step down, since the coaches can’t seem to see the obvious.

Start Bayless (in a 2 guard lineup)

Can someone give a rational explanation of why blake plays 36 minutes a game?

apperantly, he was not refereing to blake and miller, but rather rookie point guards in the league

Normally I would think "know your role and don't spread poison through the locker room", but he is right.

He deserves more playing time, period. there is just no excuse from the coaches. They are making a terrible decision to not play him. TERRIBLE. I’m getting really sick of it, and almost EVERY blazer fan I know is tiring of this drama, wants to see Bayless play more, and thinks less of Nate, KP, and the rest of the coaches for this malarky. It sounds like the coaches may already have blown it for good. We may be stuck with Steve Blake forever. We have already proven to the rest of the PG’s in the NBA that you may be a really good PG, you may be an up and coming promising young PG, you may be better than Blake, and you may be better for the team than Blake, but you will not take his minutes, and you will always be second fiddle to him. It’s just sad. Really sad. I feel like there is nothing that can be done about except for trading Blake, or firing Nate. Neither of which will happen.
