I like the Blazers

In fact, they’re my favorite team.

I also think we’ll win this game.

Still on the Rex bandwagon.

I spend a year in Milwaukee last year, where I got to know a new team.

I was worried when they let Sessions go for nothing. I wasn’t as worried about Villanueva leaving, since he was pretty selfish out there. With Redd and Bogut back, I knew the experts were picking them too low, but I never expected Jennings to be as good as he is. Great pickup for them there.

This year, I haven’t been following them as much. I picked up the Kings as my underdog team of the season to root for, and they’ve been doing pretty well too.

The Kings are on my underdog list too, they're fun to watch.

But it’s got to be a pleasant surprise, after all the questionable drafting, to get a great player just by some good scouting and luck.

Can’t complain that Milwaukee might get a winning team, they seem to have some loyal fans.

In case I didn’t make it clear, I was talking about the Bucks there. :)

I have no reason to dislike the Bucks

I mean, what have they ever done to us?

The first thing I plan on doing with my new and improved internet connection...

Is to start streaming some Kings games. I am a Sergio fanboi, and I have only seen him play a couple times this season….

In order to ensure a win

the PTB have to wear the road black uniforms and get the opening tip. I’m confident if those two things occur it is a win

Considering last night

I think Juwann should start for Lamarcus. He definetly had a better overall game. Miller should start for Blake for obvious reasons. And Bayless should start for Roy. A second unit of Roy, Blake and Lamarcus could not be stopped.

I'm for this.

We need a good bench, and it’s hard to get better than this one. Besides, if Blake and Nate can take as much heat as they do, then why can’t Roy and Aldridge take it as well, given that they’re more responsible for wins and losses?

I'm very surprised there has been no symbolic benching of Roy or LMA yet

It may be because Nate’s away from the team. I’m pretty sure he benched Roy for a 2nd quarter last year when the bench was playing better, and said that’s why he did it.

Rip Hamilton is back for the Pistons. That makes me happy, his injury was way too long.

I like him for the league. And for my fantasy team ;)

but he’s hardly the guy David Stern would go out of his way to winky wink the refs into sacrificing their integrity on

I'm interested in watching Bogut tonight.

Another #1 pick that has gone through injury issues. People hammer on him because he was taken in fromt of Chris Paul and Deron Williams, but Bogut is a good player, and changes the game in Milwaukee’s favor when he’s in there. Let’s hope Przybilla can stay out of foul trouble. He’s the only one on the team that can limit Bogut.

I don’t know who’s going to limit Jennings. That must be why Steve Blake starts. As sad as this is to say, Steve Blake is the closest thing that this team has to a defensive stopper on the wings right now. I did like how he forced LeBron James into some tough shots when he got switched on to him. Not that James missed, but they were tougher than he had been getting.

Oddly enough I have not seen many people hammer on the Bucks for taking Bogut. Rather on us and Atlanta. He is solid. Maybe the national media doesn’t care enough.

I remember it in the first couple of years.

But it has died down considerably. I’m glad for that. It might also mean that the Oden-Durant agrument might die down too, but it has a lot of play right now. :(

If Bayless doesn't foul out in 10 minutes.

I like Bayless. I like his effort. But he tries so hard that the ref’s aren’t left with much choice but to blow their whistles.

Bayless = foul trouble?

Really? I hadn’t noticed that. My thing is Bayless would make Jennings work on the other end of the floor, which is often a good way to wear out a scorer like Jennings. Make ’em work.

I agree with that.

Bayless needs more time than he’s been given since Rudy went down. Either that, or Blake needs to break out of his slump.

I cheered when Miller took Rondo to the floor. Payback is sweet.

Still on the Rex bandwagon.

If

this team can stay afloat long enough to when rudy, outlaw and batum come back it can be a very exciting finish to the year. I think they have the potential to get to WCF with all of them healthy. Unfortunately who knows how rusty all 3 will be or if they make it back on the court at all

Does 2009 Bayless = 2007 Sergio?

Not in terms of playing style, but in terms of how fans are reacting to them?

by Timmay! on Dec 12, 2009 5:29 PM PST reply actions

I think at the moment almost everyone wants to see Bayless get some time. I would rather say Blake is the new Sergio and Jack who people are divided over or have a different opinion about than the coaches.

Miller - Roy - Webster - Aldridge - Przybilla. Is that so hard?

by Norsktroll on Dec 12, 2009 5:31 PM PST up reply actions

Really? 2007 was a period of near-unanimous "Play Sergio!" to my recollection

It wasn’t until early 2008 where it became “We’re not sure Sergio is better than Jack”, then late 2008 where it became “Sergio is useless, now we love Bayless”.

by Timmay! on Dec 12, 2009 5:32 PM PST up reply actions

There was also plenty of Jack supporters by my memory...

Sergio’s rookie year, there was no Blake. So both Jack and Sergio got their minutes…
